I had GTA IV & San Andreas, and never played SR before. But never have I ever smiled through a whole gameplay video like this. This game will definitely be top game of the year.
Why does it look SO much better than in the game I have now. The graphics look cleaner, the PARACHUTE is green. It just looks smoother. I wish they kept it like this
ok, so in most of the stuff about this game that i've been reading, Gat isn't fond of the way that the saints are being run now. It's his idea to rob the bank which they get caught in, he tells you and shaundi to get out of the plane while he flies it back to stillwater alone. Does anyone else think that Gat is gonna try a coux and take over the saints? Like this if you DO NOT want Gat to do that.
You know I get that 66% isn't a very good offer, but I wish there was a way to negotiate with Loren and work something out that would make us both the richer and more powerful. Like a businessman. But this is cool too.
hopefully every scene in the game will be as AMAZING as that, usually games have a really awesome part and then the game is kind of dull throughout the rest of the game but i don't think i will be disappointed ever with this game omg

Shoot, I guess they couldn't get Eliza Dushku to repeat as the voice actor for Shaundi. That was one of the reasons I liked SR-2 so much, the star talent they got for the story. Still, SR-the third looks like an awesome game with great improvements.
Im suprise when johnny said go make yourself a fucking waffle everybody on the plane didnt start laghing. It would have been more funny if everyone on the plane starts laughing including the twins. Then the boss starts laughing than says good one johnny and johhny replies I try
that was insane!!!!!! the only thing that was annoying was that he used every guy he saw as a hyuman shield and the aming when he first jumped out of the plane was wierd but other than that this game looks crazy!!!
To those complaining about graphics you better be playing everything on PC rocking a 560ti or better. Consoles are going on 8 years now and are way outdated. Also graphics and "realism" DO NOT mean good gameplay. That is all

I don't get why everyone's complaining about shaudi, the saints are rich, famous and on top, so shes gotta clean up! IMO, she looks like a BOSS. I like.
@leon102 Not necessarily true for some people. Racing and military games have room for arcade types like Need for Speed or Battlefield, but also for realistic stuff like Forza and ArmA. It's all fun for me, but realistic games are a sort of endearing role-playing experience even if it's not an RPG, as the entire point of them is to let you drive a fancy, detailed Italian sports car or get into a firefight - things most will not experience in real life for themselves.
@camson09 the speed problem with SR2 in windows 7 can be fix simply by setting the game to compatiblility mode to win vista. just right click on the SR2_pc.exe and go to the properties. check the compatibility mode then select windows vista. :)
I think if you made bad decisions in the game you might end up with a Zombie Gat, but if you make good choices, he could still be alive...I don't know really...but I want my choices to lead to Johnny being alive...

this game looks retarded fun. its OBVIOUSLY not very serious, way less so than even the first one which was kinda goofy, second one much goofier but this is off the heezy. but i like it, it's like they've CHOSEN a route. the frist one it was like "okay is this supposed to be goofy, or serious?" because it had its moments for both. the second one definitely had goofy all over, but still had some real shit in it. this looks like a comic book in a game, and i can't fucking wait

@Dseveing to tell you the truth they have actually gotten to the point of no comparison. saints row is striving to be an outragiously fun and obserd time, while gta is evolving into a more story driven, graphicly pleasing game. both are fantastic, but i found myself playing saints row so much more

As you can tell from the first 30 seconds of the actual gameplay, the melee combat has improved.
The Saints Row Vs GTA is just like BF vs CoD. Both are good in thier own ways, so why argue when you cant possibly win.
The cool thing about Saints Row is that you don't need cheats to have fun

Graphics never mattered 30 years ago, and they don't now.
They couldn't kill Gat off in the 2nd mission. I never had any problem in SR2 mowing down millions of gang members knowing Johnny Gat was by my side.

I would laugh my ass off if one of the boxes or cars that fell out of the plane out of no where landed on someone near the very end of the game.
