On the one hand, it's true that King Dice isn't his own boss and is from a significantly less known franchise. On the other, it's true that Oogie Boogie has very little going for him past the surface and none of the money and time spent on merchandising that appearance has added substance.

Disney thinks Oogie boogie is too dark for disney, but he is by far the most entertaining villain in comparison to what they make now.
