To be completely honest, as a Chinese, I feel like this choreography is mostly good but it lacks Chinese culture. I feel like whoever is choreographing any fountain show that has lyrics needs to be fluent in that language so they can understand what this song is about, and they also need to have a reasonable understanding of its culture, otherwise the choreography will seem totally random/irrelevant to someone from that. If I was the one doing the choreography of this show I would have made the mini shooters at 1:44 go off a beat earlier with the drum (that's so it matches with Chinese culture). I don't know who exactly choreographed this show but it's most likely Peter Kopik. His philosophy is that the choreography should be based on the location of the Fountain. While that seems reasonable my view would be the choreography should be based mainly on the origin of the song itself while still taking the location of the Fountain into account.
In my opinion it's fine that it shoots with the beat because the blast does project that sound and more directly, if they were to launch it earlier and use the pop of the minis for the beat, it would sound a bit more restrained, idk how to describe it. But i prefer them shooting the minis right on the beat with a small pop so it's kind of like cooling off after the shot.
@@TheDubaiFountainCollector I know what you mean and it's kind of hard explaining this to someone who isn't Chinese, basically it's not that clear in this video but right at that timestamp in the original music there was a drum beat, followed by the first note of the main chorus. The mini shooters go on the first note of the chorus but that in Chinese style would be a pretty weird place for such a move, and the drum beat just a beat before would be more appropriate in Chinese style. But I get what you are saying, it's just my opinion
Ah, maybe they could use supers on that drum beat, with all the other lights off so all focus is on it, this is seen in I will always love you, and Lyubov pahoayoha nasto.

@@TheDubaiFountainCollector Yeah I was also thinking maybe replacing them with the supers would be a better option
Needs to be fluent in that language ☠️. Guess i need to learn every single language on earth instead of understanding culture by surveys
