I absolutely love these tractors. I use one to cut my grass each week. They truly are built to last and have an impressive cut quality. Better than many modern machines.
We have the same disease in the engine collectors. There is no cure, but you can get some relief if you get another one, but than it's addictive. Can't just have one. 😁👍👏
I've got two early 50's models with gear box steering. One's a regular economy the other a country squier brand name with in frame foot brakes. They are definitely tough little garden tractors if you got traction they will push or pull it.
I think those Economy's look great, it's a shame I don't have one, but if I ever get a chance to by one in running condition, I would like to. Thanks for sharing.

Cable steering is the same as on my 1964 Larson LapLine boat. With the exception of tie-rod :)
