GM☕️ Yup,you put ROOM and components in that correct order. I’d pick other components (style and flavor) but it’s a great thought exercise. TAD speakers,Jeff Rolland ,Playback Design …and in the end a really nice Ames Chair and a smooth 🥃 Have a great weekend.
INCORRECT!!! The correct budget order is: Cable Lifters, Cables, DAC, for 99% of the budget and the remaining 1% on amplifier. The sound is so transparent you cannot even see the speakers. The silence has such great detail. Also really great vocal clarity if you have schizophrenia!!!
With the first pick, I select malachite premium cable lifters. Why did they drop so much compared to the draft projections? Maybe the stone purity wasn't up to par.
I would leave the speakers out and rather go for some high quality audiophile grade power cables. No use in having speakers at all if your electricity is full of noise.
The well known audio reviewer on here whose channel is called calledZ Reviews said in a video that KEF Blades sound like as*. A lot of people think their small LS 50 speakers sound like that too. I can't think of one speaker like that where there are always literally droves of used ones on ebay from people trying to get rid of them. Stereophile magazine ranked them in Class A, but it seems hoards of people disagree. This AC power thing makes a lot of people smirk; like audiophiles hearing things again. But I've witnessed recently what a big improvement isolation under my power conditioner can make; so I have no reason to doubt it.
great advice, awesome ,,,, pay $50k to some obscure guy to place few room panels then spend $5k on amplifier because your out of money. in afraid to even think of your bank balance, it must be catastrophic
Room -. The Tacoma Dome, Tacoma, WA Speakers and Amps - PA system by Black Box (used by the likes of metal band Rammstein) No turn table Streamer/Dac - Roku streamer with Schiit Modi Dac. All else is just overkill.
As this fantasy draft is for two 4:07 channel, I would say that you're 1st round selection is a bust. I would trade down my 1st round room for an additional two round picks. Your pick of the Blade One meta is excellent, but for an amplifier I would select a superior amp in the Hegel h390. For my third 2nd round pick, I would call to the podium the mighty Chord Dave and M Scaler combo dac & upsampler re-clock. My fourth pick is an Innous Statement streamer. Lastly, the 5th pick is $5k diy job of room treatment. I didn't forget the analog source, at 64 years of age and 45 years into the madness, been there done that, not going back. Hey, in this fantasy draft we're all winners as our selections are utterly subjective.
You know very little about American Football. Sam Darnold was the #3 overall pick in the 2018 draft. That's a fact. Making him almost as good as Baker Mayfield.
I'm sorry, but for a $20,000 turntable an Ortofon 2M Red just doesn't hack it. I suggest upgrading the stylus to a 2M Blue for the ultimate in listening pleasure. You're welcome.😉
I'd pocket the $120,000 and have A GOOD LIFE INSTEAD. Some of these audiophiles who aren't rich but spend enormous sums of $$ on audio grar and albums, saving to buy that next amp or set of speakwrs are missing out on so much they could have done in life. They skip vacations, live somewhere mediocre where they could be living somewhere realyl nice, hire a gourmet cook to make out of this world delicious meals every week and send them over. But instead they forego all this for a little cleaner treble. Someone who lived their life giving their money over to price gougers, did not live a smart life. I'd skip the acoustics guy. If I had that kind of $$ n my travels, I'm sure I'd be able to pick up an armful of good how to books on acoustics. $120,000 and an Ortofon Red for a cartridge? This must have been a comedy.
@@scientificaudiophile I rather commented because fantasy is the opposite of scientific, which is the title of your channel. But then, having watched a few video of yours, It's rather a humoristic audiophile channel. 😉

I should have conferred with you prior to this video.
Damn, that table deserves a blue at least. Awesome table!. ❤🎉❤

Because I assume everyone gets them as a high school graduation gift! I hope I’m not wrong and the world is going to hell.
Interesting. I think the mids might sound a bit thin with this combination of components, esp. from the digital source.
I would leave the speakers out and rather go for some high quality audiophile grade power cables.

Wise advice. Can't beat logic.
Don't forget cable lifters! Regular viewers of this channel also know what the optimum height for cable lifters should be ☝

If you look up William Tuthill, you’ll understand the video much better.
Room -. The Tacoma Dome, Tacoma, WA
Speakers and Amps - PA system by Black Box (used by the likes of metal band Rammstein)
No turn table
Streamer/Dac - Roku streamer with Schiit Modi Dac. All else is just overkill.
Seen Rammstein in
the Tacoma dome
Also Slipknot 😊
I would definitely go with kanta 3 or the la scala, or even the jubilee. Over the KEF. Just my opinion to my ears.
An interesting combination. I do have the EverSolo on my list.
Never ever would buy a Turntable if I want to listen to good sound.
Surely Steve Acoustic would of done the room for free ?.
He offered, but I had my Dad's money just sitting around.
So your buying an NAD M33 with BluOs streaming capability and a Eversolo streamer ...
It’s all about what William Tuthill suggests. He is a God in the audio world and you would be smart not to second guess him.

I really hope the ground loop/emi in the background is there ironically🙈
Room first
Speakers
Amp that can drive those speakers
...and the rest, digital is digital etc.
Come in Chris let's get back into the realm of a working man's wallet. You be better off with separate amp and preamp, and eliminate a 20 k turntable
An impressive setup, thanks a lot for that, but I miss the "Pro" here too (it's not a hobby!)
You and me both!
$120,000 is just not enough in this day and age of components.
👍🌟👍
Thanks for all the love.
Sam Darnold? The Carolina Defense? Maybe stick to audio.

Bronze is my favorite in the line up, but I use the blue as my daily cart and it is probably the best budget cart IMO.
None of the above 😮
Clarisys Auditorium plus
6 WestminsterLab amps
WestminsterLab quest pre-amplifier
CS Port ACN400 active cross-over
Bigger DAC!!! hahaha

Wtf?
Not a Sam Darnold fan?
