      Levy LB only those who credit righteousness to anything/anybody other Than God is already a blasphemer. It’s not the words it’s the heart. Blame God for all evil because he is using it to GROW HIS CHILDREN . Just like Jesus. Trust Him!!! Greg Laurie is without understanding, a modern day Pharisee who is guilting people with false ministry rhetoric to fill his pockets!!! He is rich and Jesus AND the disciples were poor except Judas!!!
      Greg has a greater Judgement!!! Good Seeds are being sanctified or grown to Gods purpose and precepts. Not a man. You must read your Bible with your heart for life. In the beginning God created... Evil was part of creation. God HAS A RIGHTEOUS PLAN. 🙏🔑✌️

    True. Perhaps I didn't really lose all belief, for a moment perhaps my mind didn't believe but my heart still knew the truth and that's why I immediately changed my mind.
    Or perhaps I did lose all belief for a moment but quickly came to my senses. Either way I should just be thankful God and The Holy Spirit are leading me in the right path and that I didn't harden my heart to a point of no return. Thank you for your encouraging words!

    So what Greg Laurie says in 43 minutes all boils down to,
    "Dying in UNBELIEF." That is The Unpardonable Sin!
    Why? These people have REJECTED God's Free 🎁Gift of Salvation by GRACE alone, through FAITH/BELIEF alone, on the Finished WORKS that Christ alone did FOR US AT THE CROSS!
    "For by GRACE(No WORKS) are ye SAVED through FAITH/BELIEF; and that NOT of yourselves: it is the (free) Gift🎁 of God:"
    "NOT of Works (we CANNOT WORK for it; we CANNOT PROVE it by a CHANGE in our outward behavior; we CANNOT MERIT it; we CANNOT EARN it; and WE CERTAINLY DON'T DESERVE IT), lest ANY man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9❤😊

    God is love but He is also just and can not tolerate sin. None of us deserve any more than to die in our sin. You're around today because He decided to save Noah and his family. The fact that we are still around today was a monumental act of grace and love. God saw that you were worth it. God loves you too and wants to have a personal relationship with You. A Christian cannot cause another christian to lose his salvation or cause that Christian to go to hell. God has never been about religion, but rather about a personal relationship with Him through salvation alone in Jesus. It is not of works but rather of grace. Therefore, a so-called Christian (who had religion & not a relationship) may find himself saying. Lord, Lord & Christ telling him to depart from Him because He never knew him.

  • @kamicka23
    @kamicka23 13 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    @JoBernard12oxen - to cause someone to lose their faith or belief in God doesn't mean they lose their salvation. The NT also states that if we could lose our salvation, then Christ would have to die daily & that this doctrine puts what Christ did for us to shame. We are told that our names are engraved in God's hand. He has better things to do then constantly scratch out & re-engrave our names everytime we committ a sin. If you believe you lose your salvation, then you make God a liar.

    Doubt isn't unforgivable. If you see bible verses that seem to say you can't be forgiven or if people insinuate you've done something unforgivable, don't panic. There's a lot of complex biblical contexts that go on. Over time once you study you'll get it.
    It's normal to feel this way when you first start out in your walk and you'll get it quite often. If you're worried about whether or not you're saved, study 1 John. Also look at Luke 12:32 if you need reassurance.

    Notice the other reference to the virtual impossibility of offending one of Gods children: Matt.18 Jesus says except you become like this little child you will not enter into the kingdom of heaven: he uses a child to fix a spiritual picture, but then uses the spiritual child (Christians) in the description toward them which offend (cause a Christian to stand apart from Christ). The consequences of which are inseparable from the condemnation which is caused by the one invoking the departure.

    I got you some verses I have found encouraging.
    "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to [a]bear it." Corinthians, @
    I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me. Jeremiah, @
    It's also encouraging that John Bunyan, who wrote the second most read christian book also struggled with blasphemous thoughts and whether he had blasphemed the Holy Spirit when he first became a christian.
    Also, what the Pharisees who blasphemed the Holy Spirit and the several other people in the Bible who were pronounced unforgivable all had in common was that they had stubbornly hardened their hearts and disobeyed many times.
    “He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, will suddenly be destroyed and that without remedy.” Proverbs, 29:1
    I hope this is helpful and I will pray for you all. May god grant you the grace to put on the helmet of salvation and to keep it on. Lastly, keep reading lot's of Bible and think about it a lot because a lot of the problems we have are results of starving for more of God's Word.
    "whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and who meditates on his law day and night.
    That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
    which yields its fruit in season
    and whose leaf does not wither"- Psalm, 1:2-3

    @kamicka23 If there is any question between you and I about who is false or true it can be easily answered in this basic universal biblical pattern: false prophets have always maintained that God's people can continue in sin and be saved: that is exactly what your position is, The bible says if God's people willfully continue in sin they are rejected of God; that is a common biblical pattern Rev.3:5 & 22:19 Christians can be blotted out of the Lambs book of life "after" being written in it.

    Thank you for your response. I guess I'm just worried that even for a moment there I truly lost my belief in God. And that is unforgivable. And even if I repent now I will be denied, like Esau was.
    It mentions Esau in Hebrews saying he found no place of repentance though he sought it with tears. Does that mean his repentance was denied or that he did not truly repent?

    • @theralphster3260
      @theralphster3260 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It means that he wasn’t able to find repentance. God NEVER rejects genuine repentance. Repentance is basically doing a 180 degree turn from sin to God. He didn’t repent. Esau loved the world too much. Ask God for belief and faith. If you repent from the “Unforgivable Sin” then you weren’t even guilty of it in the first place. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable, not because it is “unforgivable.” Actually, it is because the person no longer has the desire to repent of that specific sin. The Holy Spirit guides you of sin and drives you to repentance. So in turn, blaspheming the Holy Spirit is unforgivable because it is disabling you to repent. What the Pharisees did, is the most blasphemous statement you could make. God does not reject anyone who repents of this sin. But, the person is so hardened, so unwilling, that they do not repent. It’s a belief similar to: “Even if God came down, I’d STILL unbelieve.” God forgives every sin if we repent of it. 99% of the people that commit this sin absolutely loathe him. They don’t ask for forgiveness. The simple sign is, if you are worried you have committed this sin, then you most definitely haven’t, because you are evidencing the absolute opposite attitude needed to commit this sin in the first place. Blasphemers have been forgiven. Peter was, 3 times. You can’t come to God unless the Spirit draws you to him. So if you find yourself repenting, asking for forgiveness, you weren’t guilty of the sin in the first place. For the scripture is supposed to comfort the frightened, and to frighten the comforted. Also, if you have faith, there’s a big sign you haven’t. God doesn’t give faith to someone he doesn’t forgive. I would say that Hebrews 6 described the sin that they did the best. They tasted the power to come, which was the miracles, they fell away, they said NO. And notice what it says, it is impossible to renew them to REPENTANCE, not forgiveness. Repentance allows forgiveness, so if you are repenting of this sin, you never committed this sin anyway.

    • @jamesking8241
      @jamesking8241 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ayedavanita7
      The word repentance or repent is not always connected to sin.
      For example. God repented that he created man on the earth. Repent just simply means " to turn, to change ones mind. To change ones opinion, attitude..thought" its that same as say in a persons youth they thought one way on something but age and maturity has changed them( repented) its a changed mindset.
      God brings about the repentance in the sense of change of life style. John 15 We repent mentally " a willing mind". God brings about the change of lifestyle physically speaking
      The verse in matthew where the unpardonable sin is mentioned. Points out that Just as Satan's kingdom isnt divided...neither is God's. A person wouldnt be seeking forgiveness if they committed the unpardonable sin....because they wouldnt care if theyve committed it or not...in a word " indifferent" inconcerned.

  • @kamicka23
    @kamicka23 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @JoBernard12oxen - That verse refers to someone who backslides. Nowhere in those verses does it say you lose your salvation. Read Heb. 6:4-6 -states that IF it were possible for someone who once got saved, to regain their salvation if they sinned, seeing that they crucify themselves to the Son of God again & put Him to shame. Meaning Christ would have to be crucified over & over again for your sins. (Once you lost your salvation, you couldn't get it back). Therefore, you CANNOT lose it.

  • @kamicka23
    @kamicka23 13 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    @JoBernard12oxen - Everyone can fall from grace ( even with family members or friends),but that is not the grace of salvation. As for Gal. 1:6- There are many false doctrines & churches in the world today, that don't teach the word of God. But rather instill their own convictions of what they think the word means. These people are not the children of God but rather of satan. Trying to divert them from the true word. I will not now or ever lose my salvation. I have His word for it.

For everything in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--comes not from the Father but from the world. 1 John 2:16. Blasphemy-speaking against-(this speaking is not verbally per say, it is in actions) blasphemy is not merely rejecting the teachings of the Holy Spirit, [which we all have done]: blasphemy against the spirit always, “always” involves others, that is to say: Christians that deceive other Christians to deny the Lord unto their condemnation; the Christians that caused another Christian to be lost can not be forgiven for they are held responsible for the souls that are lost by their false teachings.

    Sir, Is this possible for a Man to blaspheme Holy Spirit today. I mean if some one knows Holy Spirit very well then such person never blaspheme Him but if some one never know the Spirit of God then how it can be possible to blaspheme Him? In time of Jesus only Religious Jews were in such position to blaspheme Holy Spirit because they knew Jesus was casting out demons by the Power of Holy Spirit. Today only Christians are in such Position to blaspheme Holy Spirit because only Christians know Him.

      A person who blasphemes is a person that doesnt care not only that they have but they dont know know him. Only the spirit can draw you and bring you to know christ. Only the spirit can reveal who Jesus is- Christ. An person who has committed the unpardonable sin doesnt care that they have committed it and doesnt care who Jesus is. In a word..theyre " indifferent".
      In the beginning of the book of Galatians the apostle Paul says he blasphemed but was forgiven because he did it ignorantly. Reading this and the account of as a Pharisees of pharisees and his persecution of the church before converting should shed some light.

    @kamicka23 you should note that Christ conversation about blasphemy only included those false teachers that seduced his spiritual children "Christians", that is, Christ care for Christians is so great that should anyone cause them to commit apostasy (which by the way is always Christians standing apart from Christ) and be condemned, it is impossible to escape condemnation for having cause condemnation; consider the figurative use of the term Jezebel in Rev. 2:20 causing saints to worship vainly

    @JoBernard12oxen - Chptr 3 is refering to the rapture of the church. Those that are in that church already have their robes of white because they accepted Him, but there were those in that church who had not accepted Him or his word. It is to them that He is referring that if they don't accept His word, that He will blot their name out of the book of life. Note that this is not the Lamb's Book of Life. Be careful of what you are accusing concerning chpt 22 - it means a reward, not the soul.

      If you had lost him you wouldnt be here, you wouldnt be seeking the Lord's face. A person who has commited the unpardonable sin wouldnt care...they wouldnt be seeking truth, they wouldnt care if they have committed the unforgettable sin. Ihave been told this many times..the Lord knows your frame and that we are dust. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and Dont lean on your understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6.
      We feel many thinks in life and interpret ourselves by those feeling. The devil loves to torment and keep ppl in doubt. You being here and seeking out God and his forgiveness should be clear to you that you arent doomed. Only the Lord can draw ppl to himself through the Spirit..Just as the verse that was read my Greg in this video, the devils kindom isnt divided against its self....so why would God's kingdom be? God draws ppl to himself ...you seeking is the drawing. Like what ive been having to do. Forgive yourself. God is mire willing to forgive you, then you are to ask him. Forgiving self is the hardest part.

If we say we have no sin, then the truth is not in us. If we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar & His word is not in us. Therefore, by your belief, if you sin, you lose your salvation. And if you committed a sin that you're not aware of or forgot to ask for forgiveness, what then? You go to hell for a forgotten sin?

  • @kamicka23

That is works & not grace & we are saved by grace & not of works. Even Paul had sin in his life. Do you think that he is in heaven or hell? We are told - whosoever believes will have eternal life. God does not go back on His word or His promises. Not the God I serve.

    Taking up your cross and following Jesus never saved one person. That is discipleship, not salvation. Acts 16:31 is salvation by grace. John 6:40. First John 5:13 based on John 1:12. Judas followed Jesus but never believed He was the Messiah. The thief on the cross just believed and was saved. Salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone plus nothing. The GIFT of God is eternal life, Romans 6:23 But, you have to believe it to receive the GIFT. John 3:16-18 John 6:47 Most will never believe it. Few there be that find it.
    We have to be as righteous as God to go to heaven, and no one is. But, Romans 4:6-8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth righteousness without works, Blessed is the man whose sins are covered, Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. All believers have His righteousness imputed to them by faith alone in Christ alone plus nothing. The second we believe we are sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30.

And why does he say they shall judge the Pharisees? Because when the false healers are condemned of God for their false miracles, those same false healers will accuse the Pharisees of putting them up to it; now it will be “impossible” for the Pharisees to escape the blame and the same condemnation.

    I would probably live the same way if I were a Christian, it’s not that it would interfere with the way I live. It seems like Greg doesn’t understand the nature of truth, evidence, or love for that matter. All the things he mentioned doesn’t cause unbelief are precisely why I don’t believe. I see a book of contradictions supported by almost no evidence, talking about a God that is petty, unjust, and doesn’t offer real love and forgiveness. Belief is not a choice if you don’t deluded yourself and understand the nature of truth. Like someone said, thank God I’m an atheist. If I believed this were true it would be like living in a celestial North Korea.

If this is the most important truth, why would you be forced to take it on without evidence, sounds like some sort of sick game. You could be a good person with a good heart and still be tortured because you couldn't believe an unreasonable belief? Alternatively you could be wicked and be saved simply because you're irrational. That is a very unjust thing for a supposedly good God to do. If I gave you a multiple choice test with all the answers left blank and told you that you had one shot otherwise I will torture you, would I be a just test giver?

    The unforgivable sin is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit by rejecting the truth of Jesus Christ is Lord, if you are not born again with faith in accepting Jesus Christ and you die that way you have committed the unforgivable sin. Accepting Jesus is turning from your sin to him. From that moment on, when you sin, you must repent and be cleansed. One cannot just obtain fire insurance from Jesus Christ and then sin on purpose so that grace will abound in your life. Bryan Fulwider, A famous Christian radio evangelist has just been busted for the sexual abuse of a child over five years. Do you really think that he is going to be going to heaven just because Jesus died for his sin and he accepted Him many years ago? Only if he truly repent and is absolutely disgusted with himself over what he has done, will Jesus forgive him and accept him. No professing Christian would ever sexually abuse a child!! Sexual sins are an abomination to God!!

      We all know deep down inside that God is very real. The only reason we are seperated from God is because of our sin. There is a ton of proof everywhere you look that God is very real. First place I'd have someone look is at their moral compass. How do we know murder is wrong? How do we know stealing is wrong? Then I would show them the scientific impossibility that all this we have here in this galaxy could not have come from an explosion. To create something out of nothing is logically impossible.
