It's definitely moving and tragic when players forsee Allie's fiasco but they still do their best to turn the tables.

"All hands, initiate full evacuation protocol, abandon the Paradox Engine." The Commander's order echoed across the length and breadth of the Paradox Engine. All throughout it, people were abandoning their posts and headed for the nearest designated chronoshift point. All around him people looked dejected, he could tell that morale was faltering. "That goes for you all too," he said to the officers around him. "You're all needed on the battlefield." Tanya and Siegfried made their way off the bridge, along with most of the bridge crew, save two. "You as well Shephard, you too McKenna." The young American helmsman and British comms officer refused to abandon their posts.
"With all due respect sir, we're not leaving you." McKenna said, struggling to hold back tears. Shephard likewise looked like he'd rather die than abandon his leader. In response the Commander approached their stations and gave them a warm smile in response.
"Time to go you two, it's been an honor to lead you into battle but now you must continue on without me."
In response the young Air Force captain gave the Commander a salute and surrendered his post, McKenna followed suit with a salute of her own before the two left the bridge, leaving the commander all alone.
Below decks the evacuation process neared completion, scores of men and vehicles were chronoshifted into the battlefield or flew out of the engine on the evacuation choppers. In a couple of minutes the Commander received a transmission.
"Commander, this is Siegfried, the evacuation is complete, all of our remaining troops are on the battlefield. Once you've positioned the engine as close to the tower as possible, engage the Foehn protocol at the settings I've put into the system, that should create a time dilation field powerful enough to overwhelm even the super soldier's chrono backpack, we'll all be frozen in time for at least a few years to everyone else on the planet but it's either that or certain defeat now." Siegfried instructed the Commander as he watched the last of the chronoshifts complete.
"Understood Siegfried, setting course for the Mental Omega Device." With a tap of a button the Commander switched to the strategic communications com circuit. "Attention all troops, advance on the Mental Omega Device, focus your firepower on AA emplacements and the Super Soldier, buy me enough time to finish this and godspeed to you all, with any luck we'll all see each other on the other side. Over and Out."
And then Libra unveiled her newest power and threw the Allies plan into the dirt :P

I know most people are cheering for the Allies at the end of the Mental Omega War, but...
I want everyone to take notice of how skillfully and bravely Libra fought the last battle, even with her upgraded powers she, basically a child, still had to give every inch of herself to fight one of the most powerful armies ever seen in the verse, it was a very close match and she managed to pull a victory.
For every side of this conflict it's a matter of social programming whose ideals they fight for and what methods they use. I tend to think we are what we're taught to be as children, appropriating the values and aspirations of other people through empathy as we grow up, becoming more and more rooted in the ways of the people we communicate with on a daily basis as we mature. Only a serious mental breakdown could start a mindset shift because such a shift requires a lot of processing, i.e. energy and we tend to save energy especially when it comes to mental tasks.
@@WorldBeyondSoundtracks I know, ultimately we are the result of narratives, we cannot but see the universe through stories, it's the basis of the leaps of faith which made our species the masters of this world, and yet, too often that blind assurance is what destroys us, the hardest trick is indeed to break away from our own narratives. They say suffering is the realest thing in the world, what is empathy but to know the suffering of others and want to alleviate it. And yet, that's another tale, but then again, on the risk of falling on a tautology, not because something is a tale it means is a lie, and I feel some tales, such as the moral need to be empathetic, are worth the effort.
Oh, one last thing, certain scientific studies actually show that indeed, from an evolutionary standpoint yes, empathy and Tit-for-Tat work, but hey, looking for the DOI requires some professional education most people around don't have so we are stuck with giving them a good tale.

We all expect a happy ending but the fact of the matter is you often live past the happy ending to see the real one
the infighting of the whole allied in act 1 finally cause the defeat in the south pole maybe
@@hengxiancui2927 it was the Yuri plan, he uses Libra and neutralize the entire south pole allied reinforcements.. even Norio and a allied commander was killed for her, in order to stop reinforcements for the final assault and the possible victory for the allied nations

Listing to this track, I think it would fit in the intro for the last foehn mission. Or if someone is about to enter an M.A.D.MA.N. (because manning an M.A.D.MA.N. is basically a suicide mission). Maybe you need to Escort an M.A.D.M.A.N. in the the mission before and now it gets into posicion to blow the impenetrable defence around the mental Omega device up. Another great track to listen too and imaging something.
For it to feel proper in a scene like that, gotta do a mettal version!
For foehn final mission i think revolt is already powerful enough to carry feeling to end game. It happening would suit for crush land on babel tower

alternative path: Libra after a constant struggle against her own mind and the will of Yuri finally broke free from Yuri's control, dazed and confused she see her surrounding....the chaos that is beset around her; she looks up on the giant tower........damaged, and to the far distance she sees the Allies Paradox Engine as many of the allies makes a desperate attempt to stave off the enemy forces from the Paradox Engine. She knew what she has to do after feeling certain presence....she is now free but she has much to atone for, she charges towards the Paradox Engine; she reach towards the open plateau and saw a the last stand of the scientist known as Siegfried against Rahn. Without hesitation she leaps towards Siegfried and save him from being killed by Rahn. "What are you doing!?" yelled Rahn, dumbfounded, Siegfried looks at the very person who caused this but would also be his savior; "how long till you can make another attempt to shift us out of here" asked Libra to Siegfried, "why are you helping? what is it that you seek? Answer me this!" Siegfried questioning Libra, Libra gave him an answer "Redemption.......no longer shall I be bound to the will of a monster, my mind is my own and shall remain that way till the day I die", Rahn and Siegfried shocked at the answer Libra gave; "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!! Then you can die with the rest of these hopeless fools who dare challenge Yuri" as Rahn fires his weapon at Both Libra and Siegfried, but the shots block by Libra's blades; Siegfried rushing to another jump going; as the intense assault between Libra and Rahn continued in the background, Siegfried nearly has enough energy to get small shift to activate, he looks back at the intense battle......."I know what I must do, hopefully I don't regret this". As the battle takes its toll on Libra, she hears the machine activate as the energy circled around Siegfried....she smiled and put her mask on, seeing this has her atonement, her life for Siegfried "A good trade" as she whispered within her mask, but she suddenly felt a pull on her shoulder and see Siegfried grabbing her "Sorry but can't let you that easily, you still owe much", as Rahn was about to deal the final blow.......both Siegfried and Libra chrono shifted else where; Rahn gave a shout of absolute rage"AAAAAAAAAARGH!!! You cannot escape, we will hunt you down, and all those who would defy Yuri".
A tale of which Libra broke free of Yuri's control and in her desperation after getting her freedom chose to redeem herself.
this is fine and all but its been pretty much showen yuri had has very little control of her
Mindcontrol does not control all body, it only changes for what you are fighting, not personality, and Libra just wants to kill so it will not work like that.
@@LunaPPK I thought Yuri put her through alot of forced trials that made her into killing machine, plus with the art having a golden "halo" over her head giving the sign that she changed sides, plus her disappearing as if she being chrono shifted and red particle lines darting in her direction that once was where she stood at gave me the idea that she was fighting against Rahn who I always perceived to be Yuri's right hand
@@mishazerg Didn't Libra near the end felt off about continuing with Yuri's plan....even reflecting on her actions she was forced to commit in order to further Yuri's goals

Allied Commander is really the bleakest of all player characters. He is not trusted by his leaders to carry on the cause like proselyte, and not like comrade general who is favored by his men as a leader.He left his country early and spent his life swimming upstream. He was innocent, but to the end he bore the punishment of the Allies' original sin.
Fortunately, the paradox engine finally teleported to Alaska, and he was finally able to sleep in his native land, which was the last bit of consolation.😭
