I took a gamble and bought the STR-9F. Absolutely MIND-blown at what this thing eats. 400 rounds down, it has NOT had ONE failure, not one FTF or any firing issues! The only thing is the follower shows moderate wear and already filed for a replacement. I'm shocked that the plastic composite they make the follower out of is so inferior with everything else on the gun mimicking a Glock 17 just millimeters off parts' wise from the Glock. So, the only issue is the followers will prematurely wear and the '15' Magazines, will actually hold 17 and that came straight from the Tech Rep at Stoeger. Excellent gun, and became an EDC because I simply can't get it to fail with any rounds I've tried!
I like that u2 have ur own preference & opinion and WON'T go along 2 get along, it really helps ppl 2 see that not everyone can tell u what 2 buy but encourages them 2 rent & try 4 themselves
Thanks we appreciate that. That's is what we also like that neither of us have the same opinion but we do like the same stuff. It shows that a gun may work good for one person but not another.
I picked up on STR-9 a couple years ago just because a TH-camr I watch pointed out that even if the gun is just okay the price with the rebate is worth a look. I agreed and pick one up and was shocked on how much I liked it. Now I have the STR-9F Combat, STR-9S Combat, STR-9F, STR-9C STR-9SC and STR-9MC. The only one I've had an issue with was the STR-9F Combat and even with that, their customer service was exceptional. You actually use the same customer service line that you use for Benelli.
building up aftermarket around any brand, first thing that product needs to sell after that aftermarket follows, same happend to canik's at first but now you can find anything for them.
Yeah, I like my STR-9, but can't find the small backstrap anywhere so my son can shoot it comfortably! Definitely plan on sanding down the backstrap, too, as those stiples/spikes are a little high. It's an IMPRESSIVE pistol for the price
@fullyloadedreviews I don't. Own a 40, it was either that or maybe a 10 mm. The $100 difference was night sights. 2 mags instead of one. And it was optic ready. The $300 one has 3 dot sides. Not optic ready and only one mag. That's the downside and When I contacted stoeger about 40 cal mags they said it will probably be 5 to 6 months.
Yeah I am surprised they are making a 40. Most companies are going away from the 40. Personally I prefer the 10mm over the 40. But if you don’t own one and want to give it a rip go for it. I would go cheaper incase you don’t like the recoil impulse of the 40. But that’s my two cents.
There have been some at like $225 with the $50 rebate it brings it down below $200. The one we got we paid $205 for it after everything. But I did win it on GB.
It seems like the perfect spare car gun...or, if you're like me, and you don't want to carry a $900 edc pistol because the government is going to take it away if you have to use it...they can have my $229 Stoeger.
No, that is not true if you use your firearm. In self-defense, the police will store the gun as evidence. Once you are cleared of any charges, you can go to the police station and retrieve your firearm. The only time a person would not get their firearm returned to them is if they were found guilty of charges.
@@BonesGrave-e2xYou're nitpicking and arguing a moot point I know (I think we all do) you'll EVENTUALLY get your gun back, but the point was that I'd much rather have a $200 gun in lock-up than a Shadow or S&W...
I really like these Stoeger STR-9 series pistols. I have all of them 👍
Thanks for watching buddy! Which one is your favorite out of all of them?
The STR9 looks like a great value! Great review gents!
It really is! Thanks for watching buddy.

Awesome review fellas! Definitely some compromise for the low price point, but for a reliable, decent quality pistol for the price…solid.
Appreciate that. It really is a solid gun for the price
Another great video keep it up!
Thanks!

Glad to hear their customer service is good. Same thing I was shocked by how much I liked it. Once you get one you want to try them all.
I'm right behind you bro, I'm getting ready to get the entire series, with the exception of the micro model!
@@solomonmarcus5496 why not the micro? That’s our favorite!
Keep pumping them out! Another great video!
Thanks!
Very nice complete review format!
Thank you
Got 1 recently I like it. I have several high end guns and this is becoming my favorite.
It’s definitely a good one
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Totally agree!
I just bought a STR 9 Combat X but I haven’t seen any reviews about it
We are waiting on one to come in to review.
@@fullyloadedreviews awesome! Thank you guys!
Can you please do a review of the STR-9F Combat. That is the one with the full size slide and 3 20 round mags.
Working on it now. Stoeger reached out and asked if we wanted to do just waiting to hear back from them.
Great review guys
Thanks Chris!!!
My gun came with two clips 😮same one but price difference
They have some options for more mags but they come at a higher cost

Couldn’t agree more. I know Stoeger used to have them on their website but I haven’t checked in awhile.
Midwest Gunworks usually has them.
Just bought one at Buds Guns for $199 + free shipping....and it has TWO 15 round mags👍
Heck of a deal!!
@@fullyloadedreviews Right when I saw the deal I immediately started looking up TH-cam videos and this review sealed the deal
I just got str 9 I love it
Such a great gun for the money! Glad you like it
Got the sub compact good little gun it replaced my G2c as my truck gun.
I want to try the sc. But since we did the MC we might skip it and go to the combat next.
Thinking about getting the STR40 ITS ONLY 299 unfortunatelyit only comes with one magazine.....OPTIC READY/ NITE SIGHTS..2 MAGS 399
It’s crazy that it’s $100 jump. Just curious why you are looking at the 40 over the 9?
@fullyloadedreviews I don't.

I sanded down the back strap. Color me impressed. Only 250 rounds but it ran flawless.
Did it help any? For the money it’s impressive
@@fullyloadedreviews it helped big time. I have talon grips on it
Definitely can’t go wrong with talon grips
For $200 you can't go wrong. Looks like an interesting gun
It really is. Worth the look!
I don’t see any for less than $200

199.00 at Botach right now with a free holster AND 50.00 rebate! No brainer
