Dopamine detoxification/fasting aka the avoidance of all over-pleasure/entertainment has been one of the most effective tools recently in my life evidenced by bringing me to new levels of productivity, and still even, an under utilized lesson in my life. All those things you mention to do in this video would be impossible for me without dopamine avoidance.

I think that striving for air underwater analogy is valuable. It reminds me that I am going to die one day and it’s just the next step I need to focus on, which represents the next breath of air. That helps to remind me of the importance of what I’m doing while focusing me towards the next immediately actionable step. It sorta helps to stave the overthinking associated with my procrastination.

Dear Tom, it is unlikely I will ever meet you in person, I want you to know that over the past two years you have been the biggest inspiration for me, the kind of inspiration that grows in power. Thank you for your energy, for the ability to formulate messages in a way that causes the wow reaction and urges me to take notes and go back to them again and again. Thank you so much!! You are a truly beautiful soul!!

Still transcribing, but this is what I have so far. Thank you so.. so much for creating this. It's straightforward, it is simple, and it is something I've struggled with off and on since 2010, ... 2010. I've been watching and reading and trying things. I know that I do need an honest coach to truly break through any habits that pull me back or cause me to not even fully try out your advice.
But anyways... just having this information that I feel will actually work... fanning the flames, and your process of doing that ... I'm fking GAME for that. I've never done it super regularly, only when I was hyped about my many desires that have only become clearer year after year of journaling on them, and foldering details. anyways. To you Tom, and to whoever actually read this, Thank You. !!
YOU DON’T WANT IT BAD ENOUGH.
IF YOU WANT IT BAD ENOUGH, YOU WILL FIND A WAY.
SUCCESS IS A GAME OF PROBLEM SOLVING.
YOU HAVE TO BUILD YOUR DESIRE.
THERE IS A PROCESS TO BUILDING DESIRE. YOU CAN BUILD THAT LEVEL OF INTENSITY.
BY ATTACHING MEANING AND PURPOSE. YOU HAVE TO START WITH WHY.
PROGRESS IS A FOUNDATIONAL PILLAR TO HUMAN HAPPINESS. YOU HAVE AN EMBEDDED DESIRE TO PROGRESS.
IF WE DON’T TAKE THE TIME TO FAN THOSE FLAMES, TO BUILD THAT UP, THEN LAZINESS WILL KICK IN.
    6:20
    7:40
YOU’RE ALWAYS GOING TO HAVE THESE 2 COMPETING DESIRES.
GO OUT AND DO THE HARD THINGS
    CHILL. LOWERS CALORIE BURNING.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE A COMPELLING REASON TO GO OUT AND DO THESE HARD THINGS.
PEOPLE PROCRASTINATE BECAUSE NATURE IS TELLING THEM TO PROCRASTINATE.
IF YOU DON’T DO THE THINGS THAT YOU NEED TO DO TO FAN THE FLAMES OF DESIRE, THEN YOU WILL CHILL, YOU WILL RELAX.
    8:53
THE PROCESS OF BUILDING YOUR DESIRE
    1. YOU ARE GOING TO TELL YOURSELF YOUR WHY.
WHEN IT GETS HARD, AND I’M TIRED
    ALL I THINK ABOUT IS
I HAVE THESE THINGS THAT I TAP INTO THAT FAN THE FLAMES OF MY WANTING.
    2. I’M GOING TO TELL OTHER PEOPLE THAT I WANT THESE THINGS.
    3. I’M GOING TO EMBODY THE EMOTION THAT I WANT TO FEEL.
THERE’S A PART OF THE BRAIN THAT GOES, WHY ARE WE GETTING SO HYPED UP ABOUT THESE THINGS?
AS MY BRAIN RELATES GETTING HYPED UP WITH THAT STORY, THEY BEGIN TO GET INTERTWINED.
AND NOW I CAN TRIGGER THAT EMOTIONAL STATE SIMPLY BY REMEMBERING THE PEOPLE THAT I’M TRYING TO HELP.
    11:50
THAT’S A PART OF THE BRAIN THAT YOU REALLY WANT TO LEVERAGE.

The greatest regret is not trying and failing but it is not to trying at allFunny enough people aspire to emulate great investors and entrepreneurs, of our time but they only see their wins
and achievements and they careless about their
challenges and failures during multiple trials and the
      lesson it teaches

I wouldn't agree less but a times we are influenced based on result of what will see and experience, failure at first try doesn't mean it is over but unfortunately people seems to back off when they have experiences some obstacle or failure along the way

You have to recognize you need an expert that
understands how to read the market so you can avoid
winning today and losing tomorrow. There's reason why experts like Mrs Blossom wins all the time,I was a bit skeptical but she
Kept encouraging me to invest and it turn out very
      successful

I need this video - watching now. Tom, you have an appealing bluntness that cuts through the malarkey. Growing up, I rarely heard these ideas expressed with such uplifting and challenging wisdom. This is every success book health book motivation book rolled into one.
I started many of these 4 months ago and feel great.
Im 53 and they told me at the health store when I did my fat percentage check they said that I had the lean muscle mass of someone in their 20s. Pretty amazing. I was the type they would get in shape over three or four months and then not work out for two or three years I’ve always done that.
But this time I’m not gonna stop.
Great ideas I’m going to incorporate them all into my life.

Wow, Tom :) Today your share changed my views on MANY things. I genuinely feel that social media has created more problems between us instead of connecting us, and Meta verse is one that's terrifying me most because I want to connect physically, not disconnect. However, when you explained your why to what you were doing, it all made sense and I appreciate your honesty and openness so much. Your channel changed my life and I have full respect and gratitude to you and Lisa for your hard work in trying to help us humans! ❤️

I don't agree about telling people they shouldn't be in a job where they are there just to pick up the salary.
They should have something important in their lives. It doesn't have to be work.
Assuming you like buying stuff, from shops or from online retailers, you rely on people doing jobs that almost nobody will love.
If you don't want to pack boxes in a warehouse, why would anyone else?
If we all walked out of jobs we didn't love, almost nothing would get done.
