In actuality, their crimes are soaring, hence, they just quit charging criminals so no charge, no crime, numbers fall. Rick Scott ( R, FL) did the same years ago when he was Governor of FL with unemployment numbers. He ran on a “ let’s get to work” platform. What’s the metric used to track unemployment? How many people are DRAWING unemployment. So, he had his people make it so hard and frustrating that people would just quit trying to collect unemployment, then, he cut the weeks one could collect in half. Result? Unemployment plunged…on paper. There were actually MORE people unemployed, but the data used to track it showed a decrease. People complained, to no avail, and it would’ve never seen the light of day, except for Covid. That’s when the current administration said the FL unemployment system looked like it had been designed by an 8yr old! It was a catastrophe! It took several years to straighten out, BUT , it served its purpose to skew the numbers to look favorable. Now the same sleight of hand is being used to drop crime numbers in dem cities. Just don’t charge criminals and the numbers skew favorable, it’s magic!!

I heard that another reason why crime statistics have gone down is that Democratic prosecutors/district attorneys refuse to prosecute certain crimes; therefore, those crimes are not included in the stats. Maybe, maybe not but something to ponder.

Started this and no more sinus infections in over 30 years. But I have a lot of help from the man upstairs. My true hero. Just a thought to help if you need some. 🙏🤝
The monthly FBI Uniform Crime Reports are required for every LE agency, large and small, to submit them to the FBI to maintain statistics every month. These are not voluntary reports. If not submitted to the FBI a LE agency can be put on notice if it does not file the monthly report. Just saying.

Numbers are probably down because the six bluest cities did not report their near double digit increase in crimes of all types in the last year.
