Man, this album, this concert... Sure time flies. I really like this version of the band even more now, because you see how long the way goes with the same guys besides Mike and Randy, guys like Rick, Eric and Mark. This lineup has a special place as one of my favorite concerts.
Neil Morse is one of my favorites of all time.If you ever get a chance to see neil and his band live don't miss it,it will blow your head right off!!!In2000 I saw spocks beard when he was still with them and have been following both Neil's solo stuff and Spock'.s latest and I really like both bands very much
I have chance this year finally (I miss him with Transatlantic in Europe last year, my fault), and now my problem is, T1 and T2, are the worst version of MF u can get.
I'm not christian but this band is incredible! Saw them live here in Stockholm this summer and man, were they great! I think that anyone who likes prog music should see them if you get the oppurtunity. One of the best live bands out there!
This is Neal's best band, everything is just perfect, vocals, timing, music, just perfect..all Neal's bands are great, but this one is amazing, god bless them, and you all
Kevin Gomez Kevin, I like both versions, but I think this one edges it out. I do love the Morsefest version though, and especially the encore with Alan Morse.

Absolutely epic music. Many emotions surface from music such as this. If someone wants to be introduced to music with musicianship and depth, this is it.
I've just now, after 20 years, realized how significant it is that Neal used a Peter Gabriel song to start the show, considering this is right after he quit Spock's Beard...
I hope he plays this in it's entirety one more time live. I never had an opportunity to see it in person. Would do anything to hear it. Also happy hearing new concept albums, but this was the first I heard from him.
I love how mike portnoy has a little bit of that detached "I'm definitely the most famous guy here" thing going on in the beginning...on another note, I forgot how sick this album is...if you distance yourself from the fact that it's born again nonsense, the music, melodies and vocals are awesome
I believe Mike has more than a stick in the mix really. He is obviously a fan of Neal Morse too! Together they make some of the best prog ever, and their friendship is obviously greater than their profession! Mike P, thanks for being a essential part of TNMB! Now about all that nonsense... the rest of the story...
Neal certainly is prolific but i can't seem to get into his stuff. And think his voice is a bit annoying. The music wonders around random and non memorable themes all the time...everything sounds kind of the same.
@@jmvm31 i find him very repetitive in his solo work but in the SB days muuuuuch less so (or not at all). As for the vocals i can see how someone would find them that way. Some artists irk me with that as well but not Neal for whatever reason.
I used to listen to this, but I don't like it anymore. Sorry, but Neal Morse's keyboard sound is terrible, the diverse instruments don't fit together too well. The band's playing is not very tight and massively overpowered by Mike Portnoy's skills. The compositions seem insipid to me.
I m sorry for you man, you seem to be the only one saying that, you should visit a doctor, you re having issues with your ears, then a psycholog, your taste can't be more horrible.
Love neal morse band I saw them on this tour and saw transatlantic as well ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊❤😂❤❤❤❤❤
This album is new to me but right away "Wasted Life" really hit me. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and all those who put their trust in You.

Neal morse is a genius !
Happy 62nd Birthday, Neal Morse!
This Album and Sola Scriptura the best of Neal Morse ever.!
"This is my story".
And a great one it is. Excellent music!
Always Amazing Mr. Neal Morse

what does being Christian have to do with this?
@@males3165
Exactly 😂
Morse’s conversion to Christianity is like the main topic of Testimony. It pretty much has everything to do with this.
"God gave Rock n Roll to You, put it in the hearts of everyone"...
but mostly He gave it Neal Morse.
YES!!!!!!!!J'adore!!!quelles richesses!!!!sublimes!!!2003?ouf!!!!!
Bless you brother 🙏

I love these guys in concert! I've seen them in Seattle a couple of times. Gotta love Randy George!
Long life to Neal Morse :)
What a blessing.Glory be to God.
I wish I'd been there. It's only 100km from home... splendid.

This is awesome:)

Damn this is amazing! :)
Every time the testimotif is used:
- 27:43

I hope he plays this in it's entirety one more time live. I never had an opportunity to see it in person. Would do anything to hear it. Also happy hearing new concept albums, but this was the first I heard from him.
He is going to Play Testimony 1+2 at MORSEFEST this year🤗
@Jonah Herrnkind I seen. Still debating on whether I should spend the money and drive to TN. May never get another chance.
Overture n2 its one of the greatest overture tracks in prog history
But that is who he is. As he says, this is his story
muito legau
I reckon I need to locate this CD somehow
Incrível divulguem!!!!!!!!!!
звуколепно
I love this show, but Neal's band now blows this band away. I would love to hear the band he has now do Testimony.
Lance37a I agree. Saw them about a month ago, and I'm still replaying the show in my mind.
Check out Morsefest 2014 DVD, they play it with the new band and... wow...they take it to a new level
to me this line up is better .
Ohhh Ctmre, la wea buenaaaa !!!
Very sweet testimony. Very complex music, not my style and don't care too much for his voice but very sweet testimony.

It's Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer :)
It is Macaulay Culkin on sax/percussion? Look's like a lot :p
yes
Howard Stern on guitar !!!

Where's the video of your band? A 6 second video of a random drum set does not make you a drummer... Just saying.
more like foreverDUMBER1
Neal certainly is prolific but i can't seem to get into his stuff. And think his voice is a bit annoying. The music wonders around random and non memorable themes all the time...everything sounds kind of the same.
Do you like his SB stuff?

Neal Morse is to prog as KennyG is to jazz.
Good band but the preaching thing turns me right off

WRONG!
Interesting take. I have never heard anyone complain about Neal's keyboard sounds.

@@BourhilOthmane the only thing cringier than the original post is posts like yours. A man is entitled to what they like and dont like.
You should try one more time, you have to wait and reserve a good doctor. It could take time.
