Awesome update. I’ve really enjoyed your guys’ channel and projects. After growing up with sit down and stand-up two-stroke 750 and 1100 Kawasakis when they were new (haha, yikes, time flies!) getting distracted with motorcycles for a few decades and now getting back into skis, it’s so much fun seeing a lot of the skis and engines I grew up with on a lake near Mt. Rainier, still being loved by you guys and your buddies. Keep up the good work!
I am glad you found our channel. Seems like jetskis and motorcycles go hand in hand. We used to race motocross back in the day, haha. Question for you, what was your favorite ski back in the day?
@@JetSkiBrothers For sure! Jetskis and MC's definitely compliment each other. By far, my favorite ski was a 1998 Kawasaki 750SXi Pro. My aunt and uncle had bought it new along with a 1998 750 Xi Sport (We only had a Kawi dealer in the area). No one wanted to mix gas for the SXi Pro, so I rode the heck out of it and after my first 40+mph WFO dismount, I was hooked! 🤣
Awesome video! That baby screams! The powerband would be much broader with the stock exhaust but there really is no getting around how freakin enormous those Yamaha exhausts are. I wish there was some way to use the stock exhaust without the nice seat being in the way. There really is no other way to make it work other than how you did it. You could try scooching forward and using one of those folding beach chairs as a seat but that would put the controls right up against your chest! Hahaha I love the triple pipes though. To quiet it down hose clamp some radiator hose to the skinny outlet of each pipe and hang them overboard into the water! Hahahaha 😂
This content is extremely niche. I live on the Colorado River so it seems like a normal hobby to me, but there really aren't THAT many people into this stuff.
The sound I miss from the sea rat is the constant bouncing off the limiter, I think because it wasn't propped quite right and kept cavitating, not sure but it sure did sound good when it did that.
More to come! We should have uploaded a every week for a while 🍻 I am going to take a wild guess and say that you have been watching lowered expectations. 😂
It sounds cool, but is at the point where it is really painful on the ears. So if we can keep the same tone of exhaust but bring the db levels down that would be perfect.
Cool to see this edited into one, I had forgotten about that dry exhaust, heaps cool. Pretty gutsy, gets to peak revs pretty quick. I guess this likely is on a whole other level compared to the sea rat as far as volume, but there's just something about that sea rat kawasaki, it sounds like it's doing 20,000rpm as soon as it comes off idle. Like a 4 rotor or something.
Might have to run safety wire to keep this thing from rattling apart. I want to get speed overlays on the videos. Joel and I looked into the overlays last summer. Basically we found that the gopros are supposed to be able to do that but we couldn't get that feature to work without buying special software to fix the janky gopro data in the video files.
I forget, did you guys ever do a top speed run with that? Should be around 55ish or something I'm guessing. What a little ripper,! good stuff as always you guys, keep up the good work. Imagine how fast that would be if you could stuff a 250x engine in it... I know how you guys love your triples.
I don't think they were ever meant to be water cooled and if you did it would change the power band a lot. I think they are breaking purely from vibration and not having them mounted and vibration damped like the original engineers intended.
basically we have to keep good air flow on the pipes to keep them cool. Inside a ski that wouldnt work but since we are working with a boat here we can do it.
@@JetSkiBrothers yeah those ear cap units :) what they use on Gun ranges, they have standard ear protection, but also that they automatically protect at a sertain noice leven, so u can talk with each other but when the sound is to loud they close
Jacob was definitely, for real, absolutely fixing something in that end clip and not just acting.... no one is that good of an actor.
Well you’re right 👍🍻
Very cool to see the old girl out and about.... Sounds so crazy !! So loud, so crazy.... also, the Sea Rat does sound good !
Oh yeah!
Just bought a mint Waveblaster because of you guys. 🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations 🍾 waveblaster is at the top of our list as the most fun ski. 👍

Thing is awesome!!
it is a wild machine for sure!

I like the idea of putting 10 feet of radiator hose dangling off the back flapping in the wind at full speed. hahah
How is it that this channel only has 36k subs?
I wish I knew haha

Turbo small block 👍
So take the engine from our v8 jetski and put it into our miniboat..... I like the way you are thinking.
Looks good boys!
thanks!

For sure, the searat had the power to just hit the rev limiter and just live there. Which sounds so good.
Awesome man! Thanks for the js content! All I’ve been watching lately is heater stuff
🤣😂🤣 What a sad story !!!

spicy dope runner unit
🍻
Super excited to watch this .. I have 10 things on the go so thumbs up for now and I will be back.
You rock!
Saw this video had time to say “ about time bois” an ima watch after work!!!
🍻
I can only immagine how ear shatteringly loud that thing is..
In a good way tho.

All three pipes need to exit out of one tail pipe just for the sound..

Thanks! Yeah the 1100 Kawasaki engines like the one in the searat just sound cool.
Always excited to see another video from yall! I am dreaming every day for when I can get back out on the lake
Thanks! I hear you the winter can be a drag.
That sound !!! Fantastic !
Too bad you can’t hear it in real life 😂😂😂
That thing is a menace!
It’s definitely louder then I want it to be 😂
You guys still have that list of jetski TH-cam channels somewhere?
yes, its in our community tab section
Gotta drill the exh bolt heads and run safety wire aircraft style, will never loosen up if done correctly. Need some speed overlays on those videos!

Not yet! Hopefully going to do that this year. You know we do have an ultra 250 sitting in the garage 🤔
Fix the pipes and add a muffler and it will go faster ! Sounds awesome ! What was the lap time ?
Seems weird there was absolutely zero oil smoke from the pipes until the third start and run.
Next up a supercharged 300 plus horsepower engine swap. lol
I like this idea
@@JetSkiBrothers sounds like a lot of additional fun to me!
I feel like you might need to water jacket those pipes to prevent them from melting

V8 boat incoming
I hate those mufflers you should design on using modern resonators
u really gotta wear some peltors man
Not sure what peltors are. Some sort of hearing protection?
