Are you keeping the boards for yourself or selling them on? Only Westcoast seems to buy them but their rules are convoluted: 'free of transformers and capacitors' . Removing the transformers is easy enough but every last capacitor? Really? It would be impossible to make money spending all that time removing them all.
I really didn't think that you would get that much good stuff out of them I guess when I find them i will strip them thank you for an awesome video with great content six Stars brother
those projection tv's were the early forerunners for the we have today, and the stink bug was after the liquid it does have vegetable oil in it i never stripped one ty for sharing.onto the next adventure
Man that was very Exciting to see You strip the Big Screen TV's - Lots and Lots of Value - nice Boards - Copper - Wires - Alu - Steel etc ! Old Fashion now but was the Best Technology at the Time ! Great Job ! Phil - this was a Great Video ! Many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
They are a good tear down, but a lot of trash to get rid of as well. I charge my customers $50 to take them just for the hassle of loading and disposing of the trash. If you are REALLY serious about silver recovery, I've heard the mirrors have a high silver content in them as well. Great video, Phil!
Or to keep it because it probably works wtf people still buy these an want these people sell them give them away everything an here's everyone breaking them
Question: do you salvage the screens from these old big screen tv’s? And if so, do you sell them? If not how much would you need to save and ship on or more to the states?
Well just save as many parts man people do want these still so destroying all of them for waste is crazy why would you want to do that people still want these an people r destroying them an like Greg zanis on here he's a scrapper to a sledge hamar to his didn't save shit to sell to people on eBay that still want things that are not made anymore redicoulis

You can make a solar stove out of that lens...

Excellent video Phil! Can you legally use a burn barrel in your yard area (for scrap wood)?
No burning wood in the city
