Huge thanks for this video and the cycle800 video. I'm just starting my own shop and didn't want to be *too* ambitious, so I got a DMU65 Ultrasonic w/ turning. The 840D manuals are certainly rigorously thorough, but these vids are a great way to jump in.
Hi, I´m working with a 4th axis and using it only for indexing the part, not simultaneous. When I put the Cycle832, everytime the Z axis goes up to go to the next move, it seems like the 4th axis brake is trying to clamp and unclamp. If I take the Cycle832 off it doesn´t happen, but the roughing strategy becomes jerky. Do you know what is the problem?

You using cycle 832 or cycle 800?
