I loved this service, I am a new child of Our Lord Jesus about 2 years. I have not finished reading the complete Bible, I’m taking it slow for understanding, I just read this parable in Matthew last night. This was an awesome service. I’m not perfect but am so excited for the Lord and I can see and feel the work the Holy Spirit is doing for me, I trust Jesus won’t let me go and when he comes I will be ready, praise our Lord Jesus for his Grace, Love and Mercy

Thank you, Pastor Jack. My sister led me to Christ when I was four years old. (I'm now 44.) I don't remember that day, but I can't remember a time when I didn't believe Jesus was God and died for my sins. I was interviewing for a job at a former church. I was a teenager, and the youth pastor was conducting the interview. He asked about my salvation experience, and I told him I was saved at four years old. HE LAUGHED AT ME! He thought I was joking. Come to find out after I left that church, that he was fired for engaging in sexual misconduct with the kids. I don't know if he was ever charged, but I know he planted a seed of doubt that stayed with me for a long time. I'd like to think he was a tare, so I know what you're talking about!
Oh. I just looked him up. He was charged and sent to prison 25 to 50 years for sexual assault on three young boys. Tare indeed!

We need to remember though, that the reverse is not necessarily true! Just because someone is charismatic, funny, cool, authoritative, earthy, or bling-bling doesn't automatically make them a false teacher or leader!!! This is SO important for us to know - and to look at their teachings and compare them to the Word of God, as you said, pastor Jack (Acts 17:11) regardless of how they look, act, how much stuff they have or don't have!! It's not about the pastor or the preacher or the teacher - it's about God. The Truth. Following Jesus. Doing what He says. I LOVE your teachings, pastor Jack!! I don't know about the bling-bling, but you are charismatic, funny, cool, authoritative, and earthy (as in down to earth)!! And you teach us the Word of God!! God bless you, and your family, abundantly!!! :) :) :)

How do we know? Are we loving, joyful, peaceful, longsuffering, gentle, kind, faithful, meek and in self-control, and doing everything, heartily, as unto the Lord and not as unto man, setting ourselves apart (being holy - set apart from the world), and feel conviction for what we have done or did not do?
We're not going to be perfect, sinless, and anyone saying they are might be a sinlessness cult tare - the worst kind, filled with pride.
God, give us discernment and humility, depending on you for all things and not ourselves.

You should address how or why God still holds people accountable for being deceived or fooled. My take is we won’t be fooled if we anchor ourselves on what Jesus did on the cross and the gospel of Jesus. Anything that takes us away from that should raise a red flag.

Galatians 5: 22-23 BUT THE FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (the work which HIS PRESENCE WITHIN ACCOMPLISHES) IS
LOVE, JOY (gladness), PEACE, PATIENCE (an even temper, forbearance), KINDNESS, GOODNESS (benevolence), FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS (meekness, humility), SELF CONTROL (self restraint, continence).
Against such there is no law (that can bring a charge).
Verse 25 IF WE LIVE by the (HOLY) SPIRIT, let us also WALK BY THE SPIRIT.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let both grow together 👉until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
    {Matthew 13:24-30}

Jack usually preaches to about a quarter of a million people because of those of us who live thousands of miles away so watch online. Do you have any idea how difficult it would be to do an in-depth piece of relationships in such a public setting? This has to be done during other meetings during the week which they have but, which we cannot watch, because they have neither the facilties, the manpower or the money to film everything. On top of which an in-depth teaching on relationships really needs to be done in a setting where confidentiality is paramount and questions can be asked.

If you are reading this Post Rapture:
Rev 14:6 - And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Rev 14:7 - Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
    Pre Rapture:
Mark 16:15 - And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
    - You've broken 1 of the 10 commandments and are guilty of sin if you've ever lied, or stolen, or lusted. Works of righteousness will not save you. Jesus Christ is the only way.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The Bible says to believe and you will be saved... but this believing is not as simple as we use this word today... believing means to believe with such force and conviction that your following actions are based on or inspired by that belief... you need to hear (or read) the truth (the gospel and the wholeness of scripture both old and new testaments), believe it (recognize that it is truth), repent (recognize the depth of your depravity and that the sin in your life will lead you to hell and turn away from that life of death and die to it by turning towards Christ whose blood was spilt as the ultimate sacrificial payment for your sin. Repentance includes knowledge and acceptance of your sin and grief over it and a sincere desire to no longer live in it.) Then in obedience you are baptized by immersion into water as you do this you die to your sinful nature and past, are buried in the water with Christ and, just as He rose from the grave, you are resurrected as you come up out of the water, as a new creation blessed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit indwells within you guiding you, sanctifying you, and refining you. Your growth will continue as you strive to always seek the wisdom of God, pray fervently and continuously, study your scriptures and actively apply what you learn to your life. As you do these things the fruit will be evident... even new and baby Christians show fruit. Jack is not the one who says you will know the Christians by their fruit... the Bible, God Himself, has said this. It is not the ‘works’ that make you a Christian... it is the fruit (visible evidences) that show if you ARE a Christian . If this makes you feel uncomfortable, then spend time in sincere prayer and examine your life and your relationship with God. If you are sincere in your seeking of God, He has promised you will find Him.

@@jeanetted6074 sorry Jeanette.. But I cannot agree with what you saying.. Though it's not all I disagree with.. Im not agree with what you see from your perspective as what believe is.. Even when the bible tells us that the kind of believe that is required is a "childlike believe" it cannot be a believe you saying that its so strong and convicting, you automatically be obedience to the requirements from the law and are sinless. It's a grow in christ that happend at the moment you put childlike believe in him on the works on the cross in calvary. When you only are get starting to be saved when your believe is already built like you saying here, how that person can get convict from the holy spirit when he not yet have him? 1s you have him it's till the end and not possible to lose.. So it can absolutely not be a believe your telling. And what about the thief on the cross? He was saved because he believed Jesus was the son of god, and really didn't have a believe right away there while hanging on that cross that strong that your life changes automatically from all there wrong doing because of the strong believe what only can saves you in your eyes

Pastor Jack, I love your messages, but this is concerning. Works don't save you. If it's the works you do that makes you a Christian, then there is no grace. It's not a fruit inspector's opinion of me that makes me a Christian, it's my belief in the Gospel. It's my belief in Jesus's finished work on the cross to save me from my sins. This is a dangerous message, I fear.
Not every Christian lives for God all the time, in all seasons. We're still sinners, fallible and corruptible, until we get our incorruptible bodies! But we're saved and sealed forever! We won't lose our salvation, even though we're not always bearing fruit.

Think of the thief on the cross? What fruit could he do at the time? It was enough for his eyes to be opened to recognize God's Son and give him what was left of his life in trusting Jesus.
