When you dropped the stick and didnt edit it out or do a retake...that's what I like to see. You're ridiculous man, this whole album is an absolute masterpiece and everything meshes together so well. To me it feels like music that is actually composed like modern day Bach or Mozart instead of just thrown together like most music these days. It has a depth that is unlike anything I've ever heard, especially this song in particular.

Man, I love the drums on this album. It's the perfect balance. Whenever the groove needs to be dialed back and cut to the basics, it's there, but then when the part calls for some crazy linear fills or blast beat patterns, you make it shine hard. SOI couldn't of picked a better drummer to give the listeners exactly what they wanted🤘

He’s using a technique called “heel toe” so he is getting 2 strokes per hit. It definitely makes it look like he is only playing half as fast, but he is hitting all the notes. It’s just difficult to see.

Do you mean his foot work? It's the use of different techniques, heel-toe for double strokes to achieve the speed and triggers to keep the volume up
