    I rarely comment on videos but I have been following you for some time and I just wanted to say I appreciate the effort you put in to provide in-depth analysis. This is helpful as my son is hellbent on maxing all stats to 100 whilst I have stopped trying anything since I put all of the stats on 75. We can now be more strategic on which ones we will be leveling and up till what limit.

    Your actual first break point for endurance seems to be 20/21. It starts by adding 17.5 (average) to stamina, and at 21 it adds only 12. that is a decrease of 5.5. The next break point lowers how much is added by another 5, down to 7. So, the difference in added stamina between 20 and 21 is more of a decrease than the decrease in added stamina from 40 to 41

    Thank you for helping me understand the scaling system in leveling a character. Could you make a video on how to level a character and for what purposes you are spending your points in those attributes? Sort of like a template to help understand why it is important to put points in those areas and how to maximize the benefits of a particular build. I appreciate the time and effort you place in educating us in the science of soul-ology

Strength stops growth early, does it mean damage goes faster? Or if progression almost the same does it mean that Radiance have better damage in the end?

    I'll start by saying I haven't heard this on starting classes from souls games. But I ran the numbers, and if you start as the condemned class you have 1 more stat point than all the other classes. If the condemned 54 points is standard. I added all numbers and found varying starting stat totals. And the starting level of each of those was exceeded by 1. Which, included with the fact that starting at level 1 provides the cheapest first few levels for any build is the sole reason to build on this class. I feel like I remember running these same numbers on ds 2 and ds 3 and I remember seeing similar results. The condemned style class seems to get additional stat points because you start at level 1 with nothing. Anyone else notice this?

  • @yadakattack

    My question is, in order to level up your resistances, do you have to spend two points AT THE SAME TIME? Because it doesn't seem like spending them one at a time actually increases your resistances

      All we really need to know is stop at the soft cap.

    • @TerminalM193
      @TerminalM193 ปีที่แล้ว

      Soft cap = The point of which you get diminishing returns for every point thereafter
      Hard cap = The definition for HARD cap can actually change depending on the specific game you're playing..... The SAFE way to define hard cap is that it's a point where you're wasting stats since the return is so low that you'll see little to no gain.
      Cap = This usually means the number of which is no longer usable where the game won't even allow you to put points into without using an outside source to do so like using programs like trainers or cheat codes.
      This cap system goes all the way back to the very early days of tabletop gaming and even some very old card games from the mid 1700s. It's a safe assumption that when building for strictly PvE then once you hit a soft cap it's usually best to spend the stat point elsewhere unless you're at a point where resources are very high. This cap system starts to become a very fun system when looking at it from a "min-max" concept where you're trying to squeeze every beneficial point down to a fraction for the most efficient build possible, taking advantage of soft caps that take advantage of better scaling weapons and gear..... I could go on and on but the dude in the video covers all the bases for the most part!

      @realmshifter9102 ปีที่แล้ว

      In a livestream with the devs, Steelovsky asked if there was a level cap for invasions and the answer was basically no. Also PvP damage is calculated differently from PvE. I don't have exact numbers but I know the devs said that on the high end of hits to kill a player is about 20 hits. And that's probably with like a single dagger. No dual wield.

    So how does increasing Mana Pool and Ammo Capacity work, and where does its Breakpoints lie?

    • @TheFullMeasureGaming
      @TheFullMeasureGaming  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Leveling one of those to 99 will net you just over 600 mana, two will get you to 1200. That being said, 600 mana is PLENTY

    • @chrislopes385
      @chrislopes385 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Angelzvx Pretty sure Ammo replaces your mana if you have an ammo or throwing item equipped instead of a catalyst. So I'd imagine it's scaling ammo capacity the same as it scales mana. But that's just a guess, I haven't tested that at all.

    • @simonwahlen7150

      It will probably work but both of your weapons will only get use of half of your stats. It is like using a strength, agility build while dualwielding a strength and an agility weapon instead of two dualscaling weapons. Sure switching elements is good against resistances and these weapons might be very good but you are probably gonna get more bang for your buck with inferno radiance dualscaling weapons.

    I did have a few frame drops on Ps5 nothing close to game breaking. I mean I started with demon souls on Ps3 and my first system was a coleco. I feel like most of the people who say its garbage are really nitpicking, I don't get it.
