I’m with you as a fellow West Virginian. The G5 and G4 are really not the size you want around here, especially on the rivers. I think this G3 is just the ticket though. Great pours as always 👍
@@triple-cfishing you will probably try to get it orange on the next iteration and get it down. Happens all the time when we make stuff sometimes it doesn't come out how we want it. Other times it comes out better than we hoped for.
I not sure. I’ve only used soft plastic paint from lure works. But you can make shad dots from black plastic with a hole punch. I just did a video showing that 2 weeks ago.
Those are awesome looking baits !!! What temp do you keep the hot plate when pouring the g3 and do you change the temperature for the g5 mold and if so what temperature. Thanks any help is appreciated
So I start my hot plate at 200. Let the molds heat up. And then I start pouring my colors and when I’m done, I turned the temp up to 250. And let them cook for 10 minutes and shut it off and let them cool down slowly. Thanks you for the comment.
Hi! Thanks for your video. I'm interested in buying these open molds to make my own lures, but I don't have a heating plate. I understand that when pouring silicone lures in open molds, they are placed on a hot plate to maintain the temperature while pouring the silicone in layers. So, my question is: Can I use these open molds without a heating plate, or is it necessary to have one to achieve good results? Thanks in advance!
Nice job pouring that tiny bait!
Nice looking baits!
Master of the open pour! Great job as always brother!
Really cool little mold and patterns 🤙
Awesome color patterns! You're going to love that Borealis, it's a fish catcher!
Very nice job. I'd fish with either one. Pat yourself on the back! Thanks for the video.
I’m a huge fan of the goose turd from DOP. I use it all the time 🍻
😂😂

I think the bluegills came out nice. Would be better if it was orange but that's the only gripe.
Yeah I agree. First time using that orange mica powder.

LureWorks CoLure Coat is all out of stock -- any other alternatives you'd recommend for making shad and bluegill dots?

I believe you can without a hot plate, but you probably have to use solid colors because the plastic will be cooling so fast.
@@triple-cfishing I understand everything, thank you
