This video was way more useful than all the others out there. It also has varied but simple examples. A lot of the other videos jump from explaining basic concepts to working some massive and extremely complicated subspace.
This video may be 8 years old (I’m watching in January 2022), but it has been very helpful. I earned an A in lower-division Linear Algebra, but I’m struggling in the upper-division version of Linear Algebra that’s all proofs. I took Discrete Math, where I was taught proofs, but I’m having a difficult time applying what I learnt in that class and applying it to the upper-division Linear Algebra course, especially when it comes to unpacking the given and goals-and then actually writing down what I see and know. You may never read this or probably don’t even check your account anymore, but I’m simply wanted to say that your video was very insightful and I appreciate the fact you took the to make this. I could tell you were a little nervous doing the voice over, and were probably self-conscious about sounding mono-tone, but, to me, it was great! Thank you again!
My teacher taught this for 2 hours, I understood nothing, but you made me understand this in 15 minutes! You are a great teacher!
