We visit a secret greenhouse of the Marusei Koifarm (Yoshiyuki Hirasawa) with ponds filled with BIG JUMBO KOI!
The smallest ones are around 80cm and the biggest over 120cm! Beautiful one coloured CHAGOI, KARASHIGOI, SORAGOI and BENIGOI are swimming in these house, hidden in the Niigata Mountains.

What always amazes me with Hirasawa san and his dad, is that when these single coloured huge koi are bought, they go straight back to the same pond. They draw a picture of the koi and the scalation to the dorsal fin to remember them for shipping 🙄😮
They recognise the fishes very good, even when they are the same color! Very sharp and good eye!
Why don't Europeans establish their own lineage without having to go all the way to Japan (○´･c_･｀○)？？
