I think the measure of the kid is that nobody is saying “he needs time”. That’s the excuse the likes of Garnacho get or what Rashford got. The best players don’t need time, they just do the do. Giggs, Scholes, Seedorf, Rooney, Bellingham, Mbappe, Messi, Ronaldo. They all shown ability and maturity ata young age playing beyond their years.

Danilio reminds me of a cheaper version of arsenal Gabby Jesus. He’s not an out in out goalscorer he will get 15-20 goals in all competitions and he will also get at lest 10 assists. Am not keen on shankland a don’t think he’s wht we should go for if you take away his penalty’s which he won’t get at us because of tav. Then he’s not Tht prolific in 92 league games he’s only got 34 goals. With the way big Phil wants his strikers to press the defenders Thts not him either. Although your point with the stats is valid I would counter that I have only heard the drum being banged after this Liverpool game and after his goal against Wolves (offensive stat). I haven’t said he’s rubbish just it’s too early to call him world class. Something messi and Ronaldo took years to be labelled and they both had there doubters early on. Just let the kid play and judge him in good time is all I’m saying. And I support Crystal Palace so have no Utd agenda btw 👍

Don’t hate the guy, but if this guy is at any other club, he isn’t getting nearly as much hype as he is now
and the players at United get most hate too. See Antony , Rashford etc.
It’s actually the other way round. Players at smaller clubs are more admired due to receiving less hate which opens up honesty.
Players at bigger clubs often get underrated due to tribalism and rivalry.

Kobbie is like Jude....he wants to be great.....he wants to play at the highest level with the best and he has it all as a player.....he will be what Pogba wanted to be and could have been.He has greatness on his mind....at 19 he talks like a 25-30 year old.....so mature for his age.United had some of the best talent in that academym

Tbf anyone following United's youth knows about Mainoo's talent level. Many United fans watched him properly for the first time 2 seasons ago for the U18's. I still remember in the FA youth cup game against Wolves 2 years ago where he was absolutely monstrous. Honestly the most dominant midfield performance I've seen at youth level in years (probably since peak youth Pogba in 11/12).
At the first team level we've seen his composure on the ball, but we've not seen him replicate his dribbling, power and play making. For context, in the U18, he was consistently dribbling past 2-3 players with ease as well physically dominating opposition. Due to the pace and power of first team football, you've not seen him do the same things at senior level, but his talent level is a lot higher than many have seen so far.

Wait to see how he performs over the next few years. As a United fan who watches a lot of the youth games I can confidently tell you he's the biggest midfield talent we've produced in over a decade. Even going slightly further back and comparing with Pogba, Pogba is technically the better long range passer and has better physical attributes in height, strength and top level pace, but Mainoo is the better deeplying midfielder in picking up the ball from the GK and CB's, has superior composure on the ball and reads the game better defensively.
Pogba probably had the better ceiling overall at a young age, but the fact that it's a debate should tell you how talented Mainoo is.

He has excellent ball retention, I don’t think he’s lost the ball once while in possession. Shown by his press resistance.
Has a knack of being a player that always looks like he has an extra second on the ball because of his space interpretation.
His passing range is very good too. He can play through the lines and can play through some very difficult passes.
