LT-1 emgine, not LT- EYE. Minor flub; great review. If it were a ZR1 with the 400 horse engine, the price would be a steal. A bit rich for something that will need to be babied to reward the adopter. Perfect edition to a covered cold storage, but drive that thing around, and you are going to hate the way it ages, being already under-powered compared to its class and the cost of mechanical help these days. .
At 15:13 I was MILDLY concerned if you were going to stop in time...didn't know you were taking the right ramp. I'm ok now, LOL.
I had exactly the same car 20 years ago, bought it in Tampa..the color looks exactly the same as mine which was quasar blue.

You are correct about the seats when they were shipped to the manufacturer Lear they had a mistake in the original material and they ended up sending all the seats out with the 40th and embossed inside the headrest I know this for a fact because we worked on the plant that caught fire where a leader was making the seats for the Corvette and that was in the The fall of 92 I remember it finally cause i can smell the rubber Still smoldering after the fire when we went in there and I could see the I can see the headrest stacked in a pile ready to go to the manufacturing line better affect I think I still have a cat headrest from one of the vets

i had a 93 for 22 years. i traded it for a C6. it is the LT 1 not I. there is a cassette player along with the CD player

Great cars, bad stars
I’m a GM guy, but the interior quality, fit and finish, is unbelievable bad!
I have always loved the C4 body, but not a big fan of the Buck Rogers seats and the Star Trek digital speedometer. But if you were around during this car's reign ( I was ) ; it was truly the king of the road. Even more than later editions. You would need a ton of help financially to beat it for what it was in the market. Professional athletes, actors, etc.. they would get a Corvette first.
@@BrisLS1 the similar year 300zx twinturbo, supra, rx7 were all better cars and interior and exterior fit/finish were miles ahead of the vette.

That's why GM brought Bob Lutz on back then to fix the quality. He quickly admitted the interiors were poor which this car clearly exemplifies.

I gotta be honest, the C4 Corvette is the ugliest generation Corvette by a mile, no other generation even comes remotely close. The 80s and 90s Mustangs are even uglier. I don't know what car designers were thinking back in the 80s.
