  • God's command in Matthew 5 to love those who persecute us is a tall order.
    Knowing that marriage is the road to sainthood, this command (No, it's not a suggestion), can give you strength when it's hard ... when others have hurt you and don't seem to understand.
    Wives, I know how hard it can be when you try to share your heart with your husband and he just doesn't understand. Instead, he gets defensive and even attacks you. Yet, Jesus says that we're not to take the bait and fight back.
    Instead, we're to pray!
    Come, Holy Spirit and help us to love like Christ!
