9:15 why even take the fight? Artillery does not outrange obelisk and dies in 1 hit. flammer doesnt get near enough to do dmg before the 2nd shot either. then you got flame tanks that can just intercept the soldiers running at you before they hit the obelisk. and the obelisk can take out those tanks (with some supportive fire for a quick wipe Nope. You charge into them. the obelisk for 1500$+PP just stands there looking pretty, and you take damage and lose units to the mob. All done with a lot more micromanagement. The AI isnt smarter than a dog chasing a sausage. Just tease it and throw that thing in whatever direction that serves your needs ^^
Yeah well I don't always bother to micro. my stuff , usually i'm just playing kinda freestyle and just enjoy the mission ;P While the AI isn't really smarter than a dog chasing a sausage (just like you said) some well designed missions can really be brutal regardless to the clumsy behaviour of the AI and speaking of which the finale mission of this campaign is a nice example for such a mission ;D
