Erika Harlacher is the most talented voice actor I ever admire. Since she found success of playing Ann from Persona 5, I wonder if she could join first party studio like Naughty Dog or Insomniac to further achieve her finest work in her career.

It's always amazed me how de-coupled voice actors are from the actual games they do the voice work for. Its great so see the reaction of VA's when they get to see what all that work actually became. When recording do you just read lines from a script or are other voice actors involved in order to create a more natural sounding discord? Both the voice acting and directing is quite good in this game.
I only see lines for scenes that I'm in, and some projects don't even show me the other characters' lines around mine! I just have to trust the director explaining what I'm responding to haha. For Genshin, I can at least see the characters' lines around mine, but I don't hear them, and I need to read them SO quickly that I barely retain any information once the day is over. If my character has a particularly important plot point that I voiced a lot of lines for though I usually can remember that pretty well :)
Man, going back and watching this is so nostalgic. I haven't played Genshin in a while, now I need an update it on my PlayStation again lol 😅 I'm just waiting for it to update then I play whenever they release a new story quest. Anyone else watching this in 2024?
