Yeah, the 1990s were a good time for me too. The cars today are safer and more reliable, but I'm always nostalgic for the older ones. I remember back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, you could spot a Jaguar quite often. Today, not so much.
Can a toyota hybrid be oil sprayed without voiding the warranty? I was told by salesperson that for my new Venza we should not use Krown to oil spray or it would void warranty? I think it’s a scam to get us to by their electromagnetic rust proofing gadget that barely works. Can you please advise?
Honestly, modern steel corrosion resistance is pretty good these days, if u wash ur car often I wouldn’t worry to much about it. Also that salesperson is 100% trying to scam you.
In your current comment regarding this presentation, by what standards are you making comparisons with this XJ6? This is hardly equivalent transport for a "Modern Morse" considering its size, weight, etc. What does "time has told a different story" mean???? You realize 30 years on that suddenly the experience no longer is remembered as enjoyable? Or you recently took one out an compared it to a current luxury car? Lame handling? Mediocre power? More like adequate, although not exceptional for the times. Repairs? These models did get significantly better following Ford's modernization of the antiquated Browns Lane production line by reducing options (less involved manufacturing processes), as well as implementing improved component quality by contracting with different vendors. Ford worked out the bugs of this model in the early 1990s, and the replacement is a very reliable car. As long as it is well-maintained, its a fantastic car. It seems as if Graeme Fletcher has an expectation of Jaguar cars about misguided (even for 1990!) as his fashion "sense" of a "Members Only" windcheater and hightop white sneakers.😊
I love new headlamps❤
I wish it was 1990 now...
me too
