Hello. Thanks for reacting to ALAMAT 🤎 Their songs don't really have all their native languages. They have if it is really intended to have multiple languages or if they are given the opportunity to co-write the lyrics (or the whole song like their debut song Kbye) but their other songs which already have composers, such as this, who really envision it this way, will be released with just that language. Mostly it's just in Filipino, some with 2-3 languages and some is not even their language, but from other parts of the Philippines (Tausog, Chavacano) because they still want to include other cultures, as well as in their dances and fashion. Anyways, I hope you'll continue reacting to ALAMAT and for now I hope you'll watch their Day and Night recording.🤎
My two fave songs by Alamat are Dagundong and Walang Hanggan. The latter is a really beautiful ballad with an absolutely gorgeous melody. And I think the former is a really important song as well as being a total banger - it really deserves to have millions of views and I'm constantly disappointed that it didn't have much impact. It's a song that actually SAYS something, and is proof that ppop is something very different from kpop and is its own unique, powerful thing.
Ooooooggg waaah thanks for these! I’ve added them to my list now. I can’t wait! 🥹 why do you think they still don’t get the recognition they deserve? 😞 for me, I think it’s because not a lot of people like discovering new artists. Or if they do find out who they are, they don’t give themselves a chance to get to know them. What about you? What do you think? 🥺
@@sassjastans I feel like most people just don't give them (and ppop in general) a chance. They see a group who sing and dance and are immediately like, 'gaya gaya sa kpop' without even listening to their music. It's like when SB19 did the Clark Aurora Fest last month and tons of non-A'tin heard them for the first time and were so surprised that they were actually good. They just need to be more open minded. And to call Alamat of all ppop groups kpop wannabes is hilarious, because they couldn't be more Pinoy if they tried!
That’s really sad. You’d think by now people are more open but they always just want to compare. Whatever Filipinos make are original Filipino music so I hope more people support it. Just because it’s pop doesn’t mean it’s automatically k-pop 😞 likewise, not all korean musicians are automatically k-pop. Anyway, hoping more people discover Alamat and other Filipino artists because our music is so vaaaast. There’s always something for everyone. 🥺
Hi Bisdak represent! sALAMAT for reacting to Day and Night MV and wishbus.. For information, not all of their songs have more than 2 languages, like Gayuma, Maharani, Walang Hanggan, Sa Panaginip Nalang, etc. But yeah, hope maka react paka sa mga Songs nila, no Skip discography gyud, solid!.. 🔥✨
