@@whyyes6428 its punk mate. There isnt just one style of punk, you cant just narrow down what punk sounds like to one band and say they do it the right way.
@@msparkes1990 The only thing in relation to punk this song has is the speed in which this song is played. The lyrics have absolutely nothing else to do with it being a punk song either.
theres a lot of newer punk and punk adjacent bands doing it. was at a festival and the whole crowd was moshing to molchat doma, zoomers like me are bringing back the energy
Saw these guys in Vegas before King Gizz. Breath of fucking sweet fresh air seeing a band illuminate the stage with a real punk feed! Great energy, tight music, and showing the youngins what it means to actually rock out in 2022. Punk lives!
I used to do overnight trips for work in rural areas of Victoria, my boss said to buy dinner on my company credit card when I was done. When this song came out, I'd ALWAYS play it on my way from my last job to the pub. Steak, chips and salad with mushroom sauce was always my go-to. Then off to a fishing spot to cast a few surface lures on sunset and then off to the motel to crash out.
Dude same, I haven't been so sure of giving somebody that crown since I was like 12 and heard NoFX for the first time. These guys are the future of punk and I'm here for it, I fucking love them.
Haha that was my first thought too. Even though his mic stand has a lil upwards tilt here, for the full Lenny effect he has to tilt it enough that he can’t see the crowd
I was a teen during the great punk era of the 80s and I lamented when punk died. I used to scoff and ridicule kids saying punks not dead look at green day and sum 41. I laughed in their faces broke out my punk collection and asked what's punk about them? They aren't true punk they are mainstream sellouts acting punk.I missed the days of dead kennedys,MDC, bad brains, black flag, the cunts, cro mags and first album suicidal. Those were punk.but I'm glad to see these boys bring it back. Even though they are pretty mainstream they do punk right.
I love that they play everything 3x faster and more agro live but it almost makes me wish their recordings sounded like this
I totally get that - but I think that is what makes live music so much more special.
Fun fact - This is a common thing that's usually due to a higher heart rate playing it live
Can't believe that this sort of punk music would be popular in Australia in 2022. Love it so much!
This is punk? Sure it's fast, but punk is much more than that.
If you want punk, go listen to Black Flag and do it properly.

@@whyyes6428 so i guess you wouldnt consider nofx punk? Have you heard some of their lyrics? 🤦♂️
All it took was three kids from Australia to bring back the crowd energy of decades past.
And some good subject matter.
What about amyl and the sniffers? Thats magic
Thanks to the Viagra Boys, Found Amyl, then the Chats and through Amyl, Tropical Fuck Storm, some Great Bands at moment 👌
Powder Monkeys were good.
Latest Cosmic Psychos album is one of the best.

i am 43 that crowd brought me back to the Big Day Out era. I can still slam dont give a bloody shite about getting old!
Drummers wearing a Powerplant shirt! Good to see some love for an amazing underground London band, these guys know their shit.
I caught a flash of that and thought “nah it can’t be?!”, you’re right, dude knows his shit
The crowd made me smile so hard. This song goes hard as
Holy fuck Eamon's voice has really developed over the years
And he’s like not even in his 20s yet is he?
@@scottlondon8382 hes early 20s ... 22-23 i think
I actually love his Lemmy sounding, growling singing style

@@Munistic Theyre all born in 98 or 99, so they'll be 25/26 this year.
by far one of the best artists i saw during those 3 days. the crowd was absolutely insane aswell

You know it’s good when you get chills and you’re just watching the video of them live
The moshpit looks epic tbh
Yeah. I got those too
i cwill NEVER get over how good these guys were live. so aussie and so grunge and had INCREDIBLE stage presence. so much fun.
Punk not grunge peanut
Is punk

Great to see them doing so well, superb band.
Wow that was like twice as fast as the album version!!!!
Don't get paid for overtime
Yeah they played like 25 songs in 45 minutes. Whole set was flat out
live gigs are like speedruns
Sooner he gets it done, sooner he can be on smoko, so they’ll leave him alone!
Absolutely breakneck pace!
The energy of this performance is unbelievable!
Dude hearing the crowd sing the chirus gave me fucking chills
Thank fugg there are still bands like this.
Favourite bit of this set was when they were ripping into the cops “fuck the lot of them” with the cops watching from the VIP balcony hahah
haha seen it on brown cardigan.
was a laugh
I've never seen so many cops stand back and watch a band like they did at yours and owls 2019 ,they hate skegss
Legends
Looking forward to seeing them for the third time in Brisbane later this year. They are sounding super tight.
I was in the mosh and let me tell you those guys did something powerful that day 🤘🤘🤘
Looking forward to the Hamburg show
Saw The Chats supporting Queens Of The Stone Age - absolutely killer live!
"Pub Feed" reminds me so much of The Damned's "Neat Neat Neat," and that's why I love it so much!
Love the chats , from los Angeles
Saw The Chats supporting Queens Of The Stone Age - absolutely killer love!
That bass sound is so fucking good
Holy smoko! This is the first crowd in 20 years I have seen not standing with iphones. aHHHHhhhhhhhhh....just some good old fashioned pogos...
Utterly amazing. What a fucking band.
Fucking vicious bass tone!
Great to see a healthy and thriving mosh pit!
Healthy in size for sure. Biggest mosh I've seen in 20 years.
It's the real punk cred.
Awesome I will see band live before I die
Maaan, you know you've made it when you can just lay your guitar down and walk off stage 🤘 these guys are doing awesome 😎
Love these kids
Love this band!
Next time these guys are in the US I'm seeing them live for sure!
I saw them back in May in Louisville. They were a blast!
Magical. These guys are the best!!!
They are saving music today.

Hes really good at the bass and singing at the same time.
❤️the chats, yeeeeew😉
I like to think of Australia as never having changed since the original Mad Max.
Australians just know rock bro 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
you'd think, with all the summer touring they have done... he'd be a slightly darker hue by now, but here we are. lad glows in the dark. 🤘🤘
Fuck they sound good live.
QUEEENSLANDAAA
cool to see these guys on the stage and i think the dude from the unknows joining the band was a good move
Lol...awesome!
Ripping it Up🎸
Good to see live acts still using guitar/bass amps
Most rigs still use amps... you may not see them, but they're all miked up and fed in to the mixing desk....
Bruh plenty of artist use them and even then theres no issue with digital. Get that boomer ass attitude out of here
@@charizardmaster13 2 different sounds. Champ.
@UnjustifiedRecs majority of live bands have switched to digital units that can basically be carried as hand luggage
@@leemurtoad5186 I'd bet my bottom dollar you couldn't tell the difference between a Fractal/Kemper and a real tube amp in a blind folded test.

Inspiration for a mullet!
As much as I think it’s weird having a mosh pit going along to a song about Pub Grub. I fucking love it.
Fucking awesome
love the powerplant tee
Love that the guitarist is using a Jagstang
Not many phones up, proper gig!
I can't help but think Lemmy's looking down on this with a huge f&*king smile on his hairy face. He'd be a fan for sure.
Inject this into my veins

something greezeey, graveey and meet!
Those boys caught them some lightning in a bottle.
This guy is basically reincarnated Lemmy Kilmister if he was an Aussie ginga, craving a good pub feed!

The MotörChats
This should be the national anthem.
Yep

that blue jagstang is so baller
I'm getting big Motorhead energy from this
I always said this guy is Ginger Lemmy
Johnny Rotten vibes and vocals
Greatest punk band since the Sex Pistols
ALL I WANT ALL I NEED IS A GOOD PUB FEED
They brought the mullet back...
If wet legs hadn't done a cover of smoko.. I wouldn't have known about this band a bit like the ramones the speed they play at.Realy good band.
Lemmy would be so proud
When I close my eyes it sounds like an elks lodge in 1981.
There's got to be Johny Rotten genetics in that man
I’m staggered this didn’t top the charts in the UK
quality description there aha
