Stewart's Dry Goods usually used Montgomery G&P, such as at Fayette Mall and Grand Central Mall, therefore, I would presume that was what the original elevator was. Also, the escalators are absolutely a mod from Stewart's Dry Goods as they are in the classic layout that they used (ie Fayette Mall). I am not surprised that the original elevator was not kept as Stewart's elevators were rarely large enough to be ADA compliant (ie Fayette Mall, which was condemned presumably for this reason, and Grand Central Mall, which I have filmed)
dea41396returns I believe they renovated this store sometime in the 2000’s as this anchor was in place as Stewart’s when the mall opened in 1978. Also, now that I see it, I think the Von Maur elevator at Oxmoor Center, which has Twinkie-M style Innovation fixtures had G&P fixtures before
