Your demonstration made making a bow so much easier. The tip to lay down the ribbon on your table solves trying to hold, twist and keep adding additional ribbon. Great for hands that have arthritis!! And the tip to use a pipe cleaner. Thank you for taking the time to teach this demonstration!!

This is by far the simplest bow tutorial I have ever watched! I have been a crafter for years now and I still struggle with bows. Wow! Awesome! I have hundreds of dollars worth of arts and crafts materials, artificial foliage, beautiful flowers, vases, frames, RIBBONS…My Gosh ribbon wheels GALORE!…Such as silk, polyester, burlap, cotton you name it I’ve got it on a wheel. Bought all this stuff within the last few months (have yet to even pick up 1 wheel and start) I’m re-decorating my entire home… 1st & 2nd story. Right! Absolutely agree! I mean, even the ones titled "Easy" seemed a little too much to do, and involved. More work than should be, in putting embellishment where there isn't any embellishments at all! And too much effort into something that should otherwise be so simple and stress free. They should have never added the word "EASY" in their titles at all. And the time they took to do it in? Wow! Then this video pops up and lives up to the "Easy" part. Thank you Dave!

How many feet was your spool of ribbon ?? Mine is 30 feet which would be a HUGE bow for sure!! About how many feet do I need of ribbon that has one good side?? Great video I actually feel like I can make some pretty awesome bows this Christmas!!
Hello Kelley...thank you so much for such a great question. I don't usually measure my lengths of ribbon for my bows, but the second bow that I showed in this video used an entire spool that was 9'0" in length. I would suggest maybe anywhere from 10' to 12' is going to give you a really nice full bow. Hope that helps and I hope you make TONS of bows for Christmas 😊😊😊

Loved this video! I have tried to make bows before. I gave up thought it was too hard. I have been paying for the lady at Hobby Lobby to make them for me. $5.00 a bow. Dave - working flat on a table makes so much more sense than trying to crimp and squeeze ribbon material in between my thumb and forefinger, which never worked out for me.

Loved this video! I have tried to make bows before. I gave up thought it was too hard. I have been paying for the lady at Hobby Lobby to make them for me. $5.00 a bow. Wow how easy this video makes it for me. I am gonna try to make a bow now. I have some new ribbon I was going to take to Hobby Lobby again.

Dave - working flat on a table makes so much more sense than trying to crimp and squeeze ribbon material in between my thumb and forefinger, which never worked out for me.
