I have a 14 Mazda with a touch screen. It only works when the car is not moving. Honestly, I only use the controller, even if parked. I used the touch screen at first. I don't miss all the finger print dots all over the screen. Horrible when the sun hits it.
I have had this new 2022 Mazda 3 GT (non-turbo) and loved the driving experience! You do not need to get the turbo model to have a loaded car, the GT will come with everything except the turbo. In Canada here, we have an unlimited km 3 year warranty as well. The only issue I have with the car is some of the piano black gloss interior surfaces can scratch easily.
I noticed in this model the cup holder does not have the extra tray and lid feature. Definitely a nice to have if you are not using the cup holder, you can hide it away.
The 2022 Mazda 3 GT's Bose sound system also comes with a amplifier that is conveniently built into the spare tire's wheel well. Great bass experience coming from someone who had a 2x10inch sub in my old car.
Only issue if it isn’t turbo its too slow. Factory turbo can be tuned to push out a crazy amount of power out of the 2.5. Im trying to compete with Audis, not get dusted by then. 180hp is enough for most drivers, but most drivers drive slow lol. I drive bc I love driving, 180hp wont do it.

Purchased a 2.5 non turbo sedan AWD (made in Mexico) earlier this month, I've now noticed driver's and passenger doors don't line up, plastic pieces are loose and moving and inside the trunk, and the front bumper doesn't sit flush with the fenders. If you live anywhere besides driving on Flat roads and perfect weather you will be fighting the torsion beam rear suspension constantly. The car is Okay, but Mazda made cuts elsewhere
I absolutely love everything about mazda except for size. The problem is if i need rav 4, crv or forester worth or trunk space, i have to get a cx9 to get similar cargo space. At 10-15k higher price...

In pictures and videos, the hatchback version looks ugly. Like the hunchback of Notre Dame. In reality, it's not bad looking at all. Also, no clue why but in pictures and videos, it looks bigger and longer than it is in real life. Let's face it, over the last handful of years, most car makers have utterly decimated the Compact Car class. _Real_ compacts almost don't exist anymore. There's only a handful of exceptions left out there. (Hilarious that VW is trying to claim their current Mid-size Passat is a Compact Jetta. Even better, claiming that their "Jetta" GLI is a GTI with a trunk, instead of a hatchback. Both claims utterly ridiculous.) The Mazda 3 Hatchback is too long to be a true compact. But thankfully in size, it's at the very lower-end of what most car makers are claiming is the new Compact class. (I'm saying, if you're willing to deal with something a bit longer than an actual compact, this car is worth a serious look.) Certainly easier to parallel park than a current year Passat masquerading as a Jetta. Honestly though, anyone who can afford an entry-level luxury vehicle, is going to go for that; over this Mazda. It's a status symbol thing. Least expensive Audi, BMW, Mercedes, or Lexus vs. the highest-end Mazda in the same size segment. Mazda is making a huge mistake competing for those buyers. Those buyers want those recognized luxury badges up-front where everyone can see them. Any product, buyers will take the lowest priced example of a revered luxury brand over the Top-of-the-line example from a non-luxury brand. Would you rather have the cheapest, genuine, Rolex out there. Or, the best made watch from Tissot. Rather obvious which one people will buy.
Like the review, but the buggy sound made this close to unwatchable when watching with headphones. Sounded like cellphone interference from like 20 years ago. Good thing it wasn’t as bad the entire video.
rear vents would make it a true family car. i've noticed 2023 asian/european hatchback models have them. i've yet to see a North American HB with rear vents in a youtube video. i'm hoping 2023 N.A. model gets it. lets cross our fingers boys and girls! 🤞🤞 P.S. europe also has a hybrid model WITH AWD!
