  • Callan Pinckney introduces her best-selling fitness video Beginning Callanetics
Available on DVD from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk
    www.amazon.com/...
Callan Pinckney, the creator of Callanetics, gives a full hour of clear, complete instructions on how to perform every movement in this 30 minute beginner's routine.
Unlike other exercise programs that stress hard jerking motions, Beginning Callanetics is a safe, gentle, easy-to-learn routine designed especially for the beginner. If you have never exercised before or if you are trying to get back into a regular routine, Beginning Callanetics has been developed so you can learn the fundamentals of Callanetics at your own pace.
Callanetics is a series of small, gentle, precise motions consistently applied that quickly tighten hips, buttocks, inner and outer thighs, flatten the tummy, lift the bust, firm underarms, tone the entire body and dramatically improve your posture.
Featuring exercises for every part of the body, Beginning Callanetics also includes a special bonus section of exercises to improve and strengthen your back.

I am so thrilled to find Ms. Pinckney here. I am 45 and was introduced to her method as a teen. I’ve never found anything smarter, safer or more efficient for building long, lean muscle. It’s so fast in showing results and totally injury-proof! I hope her wisdom remains available forever. I’d gladly pay a subscription for cohesive access. Love you, Callan! 💘

False. First, none of Jane's videos do anything even remotely close to this. I know because I taught those classes for years.
Second, Jane released her book, album and first 2 videos before Callan released a single book or video. By several years, in fact.
So stop this adolescent competitive crap. They are both helpful and neither is copying the other.

@@djdrews I call bullshit. It’s not new to anyone in the US that if you eat junk food or eat TOO much food you will get fat. They teach this in health class in every school. We have day cares writing notes to parents not to pack sugary foods for a treat. If you see a fat child they come from a fat parent or parents.
This has gone from accepting ones self to praising. That slippery slope happened a long time ago. It is the fault of the fat parents that feed their fat children.
Of course there are those with thyroid issues, but those cases are extremely low for the amount of fat people walking around.
It’s very simple. Less calories and more exercise equals a healthier body. Thin is not the goal persay, it’s healthy. A LITTLE bit of weight is not bad.
We need to shame people. Only shame will create change at this point. If not, we are just helping people kill themselves by way of, as you said, “ acceptance” of everyone’s obesity.
If a person is fat, you start making better decisions as to what you put in your body. Allowing them to be fat and making excuses will cause depression. They are depressed because they’re fat. Not that they got fat because they’re depressed. Their mental state will be a lot better if they lost weight and become healthy. Take a walk every day instead of staring at a screen feeding your face till the entire chip bag or cookie bag is gone.
As far as “mercilessly ridiculed”. No. I read comments. It’s more like 90% or more makes excuses for the person telling them they’re beautiful just the way they are and the less than 10% tell them to lose weight.
It’s child abuse to keep feeding your children till they’re as fat as the parent. It’s on parents to change the behavior. Instead of allowing junk food to touch their mouths at gatherings, play board games, card games or take a walk outside. Eat and make a healthy dinners together.
We’ve become a lazy fat nation! It’s embarrassing. We are supposed to be one of the richest nations on earth and people in other countries, all can see how fat we’ve become. We are a joke to them.
      I’m tired of the excuses.
If you want to accept that this is just how it is than that’s on you. Their death from a diabetes or heart conditions in their 20’s to 40’s its on you and those that make excuses for them. We have children so fat they have health issues. Again, this is child abuse!
I’ve dieted off and in my entire life. I want my doctor to tell me to diet. To tell me I’m fat when my BMI is within the overweight/obese range. Nowadays, this acceptance group has gone after doctors for telling the truth to their patients. There are literally doctors offices not weighing people because the truth that they’re fat hurts their feelings! Wtf
People want free healthcare for all. We will never be able to afford it with a nation of obese people.
It’s not hard to buy from the outside isles of the grocery stores where vegetables and meats are, away from the processed boxed food. Drink water instead of sodas. Watch you food intake.
Sorry if I seem harsh, but it’s ridiculous now.
Excuses only helps them kill themselves faster. I won’t be apart of that.
