The original recipe uses wheat milk... ante godumalanu one night naanabetti mixer lo vesi grind chesi vadakattadam...that is the original version of godhuma paalu.
And they make it with atleast 50 percent jaggery... or completely with jaggery

Madam Wheat Flour lekunda , millets flour tho kuda halwa cheyachaaaa, ante L'Oreal, Sakai, jonnalu pindalatho. Meru sugar vadthunaru kadhaa dance badulu thati Bellam lekapothe thati Bellam powder vadachu. Endukantee sugar manufacturing loo Sunnam and sulphur vadtharu
To appear white which is not good for health. Because I'm employee in sugar manufacturing industry and actually sugar colour is yellow.
Mysuggestion better to use tathi Bellam it AVALIABLE in rythunestham store and PRAKUTHI VANAM store in Hyderabad

it is called as madugula halwa not bandhar halwa.. there is a village called madugula in vizag dist. Around 50 families are living on this halwa business.
