Really solid stuff; can't believe this is your first time editing! Love Maccy... Looking forward to sporting an official Maccy shirt on days I'm not riding the Gambletrain
Hey! I love it. Maccy is so cute. Very informative and I love the production style!!! Great job. I look forward to seeing more episodes! :) (Also great into sequence.)
I love it! Lots of good info. Arguably my favorite form factor of any computer. Great video approach, as well. Excited to see more of both Maccy and Ms Fox. ^_^
A 1990 mac classic was the first mac I got in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, the machine was not stored properly and fell, permanently damaging the crt. Thank you and Mac eee for the informative video.
Nice educational channel. Very creative and well edited. Too bad that I never used a Mac till 2013. Hope to see more video’s with the history of the Apple computers. Subscribed. 😊
I would love to see your recapping video sometime. I hope nothing went wrong with that footage. Thanks for an entertaining and informative channel. My 9 year old son loves watching it just for Maccy!
How In the world did you made maccy come to life like that? Can you do a behind the scenes video of how to make him come to life I love how you do that It’s awesome!
@@MacintoshLibrarian I hope you don’t mind me asking but is this super hard to do? I toy with doing a channel myself but have no experience of video editing and stuff at all.
Thanks for the review and solid coverage of replacing capictors. I've got 10 (yes, 10) Mac Classics I've picked up over the last 20 years, and I really do need to somehow find time to recap them. Anyone in Melbourne, Australia open to recapping them for trading some of them.
Gasse later created Be, which went under, but today the BeOS lives on in the Haiku Project which is about to be released. And it’s blindingly fast. See if you can acquire a BeBox. Also do a PowerMac 4400 - one of Apple’s weirdest machines in 1997.
Cute vid. Very well done and some good information. Did a recap of my Classic several months ago. Some minor leaking damage, but a good wash and recap took care of it. I ordered a "cap kit" online and that didn't come with tantalums. So I will probably plan on another recap in 15/20 years. ;-)
The animations are very well done 👍 another great informative video. Just came across the leaky capacitor problem on a powerbook 145b lcd screen. The exact same capacitor that you showed 😄🙄
This is a fun and entertaining video, and very thought out for your first on TH-cam. You've done some video production before. Did you upgrade the caps yourself? Maccy is great, and you introduced him straight off the bat. I've only done one intro video, but it's not as good as yours! I also want to introduce a Mac character but I want to animate it first. Looking forward to seeing some more videos. Oooh, I subbed as well 😀
@@MacintoshLibrarian Oh not s’bad! I’ll be doing better when your next episode comes out though! I love your videos, and adore your sense of humor. Your Top Gun homage with Mave-.... I mean Maccy was hilarious!
Hey Maccy, I Love Your Videos Teaching About All The Macintosh Computers Videos. I Kind Of Wish I Could Make A Comic Book Story Of You As The Main Star And Your Other Computer Friends. That Would Be Cool Of You In A Comic Book Adventure Teaching Kids About Computers. Or Maybe You As A Superhero.
The leaking problematic capacitors are only the SMD capacitors. Electrolytic capacitors don't cause leaking problems.......Some friends said me that tantalum capacitors are more susceptible to explode when they start getting older. Even SMD capacitors today are more reliable than early 90's SMD capacitors. :)
Great production quality, great story telling, and just a solid video all around! Love Maccy, what a great sidekick!
Love those opening titles, genius! Always wanted a classic back when it was new and just a classic in name only.
I'm late for the party, just my second video but I'm glad to be here. Already a fan!
Watching your videos out of order, but now I see the mysterious origins of Maccy! Very nicely done. 🙂

Also when will there be Maccy Merch?
I love this channel. All the calming audiovisuals of Mr Roger's Neighborhood, but for vintage Mac nerds!
I loved that, Maccy is so stinking cute!
Great work! Entertaining and informative. I look forward to more videos, and Maccy is adorable. 🤓👍
My god this channel is soooo cute! I am really happy that I youtube recommended you!

Great video approach, as well. Excited to see more of both Maccy and Ms Fox. ^_^
I found a 1999 (revised and expanded)version of the book on Ebay. Thanks for bringing it up.
Awesome work, fun and easy going video. Maccy is great!
Informative and adorable, the recipe for being memorable.

How have I never come across this channel before, with all the classic Mac stuff I watch? It's a failure of the TH-cam algorithm!

The service tool for opening those macs was called a Mac Cracker for cracking open the case.
