I went to my local genesis dealer today to get info about this coupe model and possibly order one. They had just received one which was in the showroom all nice and squeaky clean. I immediately fell in love with it and after a test drive, purchased it on the spot! And this is after test driving the BMW X5. There was just no comparison in my opinion. Pictures and video don’t do it justice. When you see this car in person, you are immediately hooked. The vehicle is so luxurious, sporty, and loaded with tech. The warranty blew me away. 5yr/60k bumper to bumper, 10yr/100k power train, 7 year corrosion, and first 3 year scheduled maintenance free of charge. What I also loved is that there are zero options/packages to have to choose from, it just comes totally loaded!

Love the reference to the song "We Fall Down" at 13:32! Made me go watch the video with Donnie McClurkin. Haven't heard it in a few years. Appreciate your review of the GV80 Coupe! I've been looking at the GV80 for that past 2 years but always preferred the coupe shape similar to the BMW X6 or Mercedes GLC300 but I am partial to Genesis. Thanks again for the great review.

Wasn't able to get an exact time frame on it. What I did do is go to Genesis.com and sign up for latest information and updates on GV80 with E Supecharger. I would try that as well. Then the manufacturer will send you updates. Thanks for watching. Gratitude is my Attitude.
Congratulations good job. I have a gv80 and you missed showing the turn signal cameras in the digital display. And self park features but still great job maybe in the next one. Genesis does make great vehicles. I will stick with the regular gv80 that backseat looks like it's mainly for kids.

Does the GV80 Coupe come with adaptive headlights? How about folding side mirrors? Can the fob auto start?
Did research and North American versions don't have adaptive headlights that go up and and down or swivel in turns but do have automatic high beams. The mirrors do and can fold you just have to turn feature on and off inside vehicle. Also they do have remote start on key fob on side with active smart parking feature. The parking feature uses remote start and sensors to pull vehicle foward or backwards. SEE MY GENESIS G90 VIDEO TO SEE THIS AWESOME FEATURE IN USE. Thanks for watching. How does the instrument cluster handle bright sunlight?

I think the new headlight modules already look very dated. The “string of pearl” LED implementation just seems so 2016 today. It’s also not a cohesive look, why don’t they match the same format as the rear LED’s Genesis? Or at least kept the “string of pearls” theme going in the rear taillights as well.

Great work though
Check out my other Genesis GV80's I reviewed so many I didn't go into all that this time around time was limited with this new model. Its the same 3.5 Liter Twin Turbo in the GV70 3.5T and the Genesis GV80 3.5T twin turbo V6 375 HP and later on down the line they will offer the 3.5T Twin Turbo with the Electronic Supercharger 409 HP same engine as G90. Is this 100% hands free lane keep?
They do have Lane assistance. While driving the system will keep vehicle in between lanes using cameras and sensors. It's not 100% I would say. It senses vehicle drifting without intent to change lanes. After a certain time and distance it will give you a warning to place hands on wheel.

They ruined it starting from the exterior. The concept that they promised was absolutely brilliant and beautiful 😮💨 but this is not good enough to get me out the g70…

In my opinion the rear portion of roof where the roof splits is hideous. Additionally the 80k plus price point encroaches on BMW and Mercedes prices. To piggyback on that point: The Genesis interior quality is a notch or two below the German competition.

I agree. A luxury vehicle should not have the cup holders exposed. It should have it covered. This is same with the Porshe Panamera

I prefer the 2024 exterior for some reason. This looks toned down!
Also the interior is no longer unique! It loos like they took it right out of a Mercedes Benz. I wish automakers would stop following the Germans with their overly engineered and generic dashboards😢😢😢
