I visited Scare Games with my partner last year, luckily the actors that we got were really kind and listened to us when I told them that I had to stay with him due to some disabilities! They put us in the same cage at the start and didn’t touch us at all, the scare is pretty full on, watching it on a screen doesn’t quite do it justice. But if you really are frightened or have some disabilities (mainly mental health) and don’t want to miss out on the fun, SPEAK UP! I told them my partner was my carer, and that really helped our experience. I’m so sorry to see how shook up Charlotte is after going through, its not nice being split up from the people you’re with anyway, but especially when there’s a lot of touching. I think it’s quite unnecessary, and too much. I really hope it didn’t ruin the rest of her night, I can see just how much it got to her. Sending love and excited for my visit tomorrow! No scare maze’s unfortunately this time.
I personally love how full on survival games is, I didn’t really get scared in the other mazes but survival games really had me! I had 4 of them gang up on me and have me against a wall opening night 😅
Man I have to give big credit to the actors and actresses in these things. Having to stay in those dark/flashing areas for hours on end acting like an absolute loon. I don't know how they do it lol 😂
You guys have put out some amazing videos the last few weeks and worked really hard and been so busy! I love how Shawn always seems to make Charlotte go first in the scare mazes! 😂
Wonderful to see Stitches and the fabulous actors who get a huge 👏 from me. Must be such fun but exhausting. Glad I’m just the scary voice of the lovely Toy Maker. 😂 😮
I do wonder if parks would ever consider some more “accessible” nights with the mazes. So with the flashing lights off and just normal lights (can be a bit dim and coloured but not super dark and certainly not flashing), less sound FX and fewer jump scares. I LOVE the aesthetics of these mazes but couldn’t even get through half of ‘stitches’ on this video because of sensory overload of the lights and noise & I’d just get so freaked with one jump after another. Years ago when I last went to a fright night I managed Se7en ok (yes it was THAT long ago), as was quite quiet and low light for most of it rather than flashes and noise (though it still scared me a lot) but Asylum had me in total and utter tears and was shaking so much I could barely stand once I got out because I was just so overloaded! Whereas I Love love love doing horror makeup and seeing the characters walking around the park and can interact with them like that, and have done an outdoor daytime zombie maze before somewhere which I was fine with as less jumpy and no noise. Just a thought for the parks. Thanks for your videos as with them I can make an informed choice about not going in the mazes without FOMO! 😅
I think I could manage ‘Crows’ in daylight but might have to dig out the old “don’t come near me” lanyard! 😅 It does look good. I might give that one a go if can get in it in daylight. 😊
I have photo sensitive epilepsy and it's just way to much flashing!! I can get away with some strobe when I wear really strong sunglasses but the strobes here just make it completely unsafe for me unfortunately..
So much effort has gone into each attraction, with the props, lighting, sound and especially the costumes. I don't normally like the Halloween season, but I think this was one of the best ones I've seen. Thanks guys. Love you both!
Thank you Shawn & Charlotte for taking us around the fright night at Thorpe Park. I enjoyed most of the attractions but thought the Creature Campus was a bit weak; not saying they were bad just seemed abit lacklustre for me! Anywho! Keep em coming we'll be watching! ❤❤❤

Nice & interesting vlog, scary, quite scary, but interesting. I swear I saw and heard Carrie Hope Fletcher a.k.a Mcfly's Tom Fletcher is sister who I think was playing as the innocent girl with glasses in the Crows scare maze who was trying to warn everyone to get out of maze? I'm not sure if it defo was her? But it looked like & sounded like her? Not sure? Loved the actress playing as first female character as you enter first scene in Stitches, done a really good job with making yourself look aswell myself be uncomfortable watching, when that happens it tells you they are doing a good job. Think that maze was the best in my opinion, Stitches 100% the best out of all, amazing actors and characters in there, really scary lol. Dreamland Margate reopens their Scarefest event next year so look forward to that, but nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to the next vlog. Yeah about Hyperia, amazing and unique way recently with announcing new name & coaster layout POV. Love the soundtrack of coaster and cannot wait to see this coaster soaring above over whole park. Thanks for your amazing vlogs, have always wanted to go to the scarefest parks but seeing this helps me know I am just too anxious a person, thanks so much for letting us know how the parks are delivering Halloween this year
The difference between Shawn & Charlotte in Scare Mazes always makes me laugh! I'm not a fan myself but looks like Thorpe were on top form this year! Poor Charlotte in Survival Games... Good to know you can come out of mazes if needed but shouldn't have to be that way x
Great vlog. Are all mazes indoors this year then? So you don’t have to wait till the evening to get the full experience? Going on Saturday for the services day.
Been thinking about getting into scare acting, you never know one day I might be scaring you in the future 😈 Awesome vlog guys fright nights looks amazing ❤
Do it! I’ve finished my second day of scare acting (not at Thorpe) yesterday and it’s so much fun. We had 4 days of rehearsals. The first was paper work and learning scare tactics. Second we did a bit more paper work, learnt what mazes we were in and played games. The third we did more specialised rehearsals and got to learn more about our cast mates and the forth was a tech run. Its a mix of emotions doing it. You feel so good about yourself when you manage to make people jump. However, some groups will be better than others. It can be pretty disheartening when groups walk through without a reaction. In addition, some people are horrible! Yesterday, we had a lot of intoxicated people come through, who started having a go at people in our mazes. I had people flirting and barking at me (which I wasn’t particularly bothered about because I was barking and heavily staring). My friend was told to start a tinder account, another had their boob touched and most of us received sexual comments no matter how we looked. Someone guys started having a go at someone in my room making fun of them being on work experience and not getting paid (most of us are on work experience but we are paid). It is exhausting and you will be tired. According to my watch on Friday after a full day of college and scare acting, I had burnt 3,400 calories. I’m also heavily bruised. I know what I’ve said sounds negative, but overall it’s just fun. You make great friends with those around you and it’s interesting. It’s fun when you’re waiting for groups to show up as well. Personally, we hide sweets in our areas and talk about strange topics. You also find yourself in random scenarios. Yesterday, I was in a chicken onesie, covered in fake blood, barking at people. The night previously I was dancing to the audio in my room. There’s lots of improv and it’s cool trying different tactics. We change our roles so each night is something different.
Oh my goodness, get yourself to fright nights people, it's seriously something you dont want to miss this year, was 10/10 also I loved how hands on and full on with survival games, only one that scared me but I came out absolutely buzzing.
SHAUN AND CHARLOTTE Are Brilliant, ive followed and subscribed with them and can remember their review on Halloween at Warwick Castle before the Covid, and it was Brilliant..Keep going and well done you Guys
Seems like I got Fright Nights light on Monday. Not nearly as many actors in Trailers, Stitches and Dead's Doors. Less dancers in Creature Campus... I still really enjoyed it, but now that I'm watching this video... it could have been a lot better.
Aw maybe it's best you don't come down to Fort Amherst in Kent. Its a very full on 1 hour tour, with lots of story, but full on contact lol. We are Europe's longest running scare attraction, so must be doing something right! Sadly sounds like you wouldn't be abke to handle it 😅😊 Glad Thorpe is back on form!
Omg how did I not see you 😭😭 big fan, hopefully see you next year when the park opens again 🙏🏼🙏🏼 wicked video about the whole fright nights this, brilliant to see a genuine review 💯💯
Next year, you should make a song about fright nights. It should be a parody song of the five nights at Freddy’s 1 song. The music video can also feature cool footage from fright nights and some lyrics too. That’ll be awesome.
Great vlog guys! I have a question though! I always thought you had to finish a maze once you started it, it’s one of the things that scares me is that I didn’t think there was any sort of emergency exit. So can I ask what Charlotte said to allow for an early exit? It would make me feel a lot better knowing there is a “safe word” per se ☺️
Hi there! I’m an actor in stitches, there isn’t a safe word per se but if you come and speak to us we can either escort you through the maze and tell others it’s a no scare situation or we can escort you out the nearest exit. If you just make sure to get one of ours attention we are all fully trained to notice any signals 💜💜
@@astridwhite456may I ask please: would there be any way to alert from the start for a maze that you don’t want people jumping at you or getting too close? I love the aesthetics of horror mazes but they are total sensory overload so I’m in total and utter tears and shaking! Though I’ll say I’m pretty sure I can vouch for what you say about you all knowing the signs: Went on Walking dead and when the doors were opened and I saw the actors after the ride, I was gripping on to my husband and son for dear life and shaking and gibbering like a wreck as already sensory overloaded with the alarm sounds. The actors didn’t approach us 3 at all, apart from one who jumped out and down a bit behind my son (who appreciates scares unlike me) and followed us out, but I also swear they were subtly signalling to others not to jump. Similarly years ago in Asylum I was gibbering and crying and barely had my eyes open and I felt a squeeze on my arm from an actor who was walking down our line, BUT it felt a reassuring one like “it’s ok, I’m staying in character, but we’ve got you, you’ll get through this.” Forever grateful to those actors. ❤
@@bighoaxor hi there! So there are no scare lanyards available that all the actors are trained to spot and recognise that we dont jump or scare that person. We let you walk by and maybe just offer a smile. 💜
With most of the mazes returning this year, What order would you say to do them in to build yourself up. It’s my first fright nights (I do enjoy scary things but still want to build myself up)
@@ThemeParkWorldwideThank You, I’ve heard deadbeats going to be even scarier than survival games but out of the returning mazes I’m definitely gonna start with stitches and end with survival games
I’ve only been to HHN at universal so it seems really funny hearing the actors own voices. I don’t know how they manage to do that all night?! Especially the monster/zombie characters. Must destroy their voices!
New scare actor here! I’ve just spent 2 days working in a maze at a different place, where I played 2 different zombies. A lot of it depends on the role you’re in. The first night I was in a dark room with loud audio. We had strobe lighting that came on for about 3 seconds, before going dark again. My eyes easily adapted to the dark, but the audience couldn’t see me without the lights. Therefore, I had to make a lot of noise. Half way through the night my voice had died and I had to find a new way to make noise (something that damaged me physically). Second night was much different. I was outside in a cage without audio. We had a few actors in the area, including one talking about the area. My voice lasted throughout and I felt so much better. Note. We also hide a lot of water around our areas.
I found trailers the weakest this yr, stitches is my favourite however i did like the physicality of survival games cuz for me it added to the realism of it 😂
Sorry if this has already been commented, but the dolls room in ‘trailers’ used the same piece of music from the mirror scene, in the Haunted Hollow at Alton Towers, right?
How does this compare to say HHN? I assume the production value isn’t anywhere the same though it looks pretty good from the vlogs, and doesn’t look anywhere as busy and no one in front of you, or was it just a quiet night or because you are media?
The set design at HHN will always be the best however the scares are more real and intense in these mazes! It’s smaller groups instead of a constant line which is also much better!
I brought a ticket for the scare mazes and i asked one of the staff he told me the three mazes i wonder why i wasn't told about these other mazes all i went through was trailers - survival games and howells toy emporium i was wondering are the other mazes free like deaths doors and the crows of walkin meadows are they free ?
it looks amazing! the one complaint i have is that it looks like the amity v lycanthorpe thing has kind of been lost, and they don't seem like they're against each other anymore. cannot wait to go! also, for charlotte (i apologize if that is spelt wrong), how do you leave a scare maze if its too much for you??
13:47 There is a easter egg Look on the posters the theater are showing a hyperia movie. This is the reference for the hyperia roller coaster Being built
Hi Shawn and Charlotte I am going to Thorpe park 3 weeks time on a Saturday but Saturday week I am off to Alton Towers and staying overnight so I can all the scare mazes and some rides I am looking forward to it
Was really looking forward to some Fright Night vlogs! I really want to go to fright nights one year but I’m way to petrified, I would probably scream all the time! Looked like you both got some good scares though!
We are going to Thorpe on the 16th, doubt I’ll go in any of the mazes as I’m more focusing on going on swarm and nemesis inferno for the first times as I’m trying to get over the fear of them… stupid really, I’ve now been on Icon and The Big One yet I think I’m still scared of them (not as bad as I was before, I used to think Wicker Man was my limit).
My dream job is alighting designer for shows and that is some really good rig and light designing, I wonder how people get to do the lights in theme park shows
Regarding your merch why don't you think about wearing it when you are out and about filming. Or have your name printed on the front of your caps just a thought Loved this it was very scary
Hi. This might be stupid if I’m incorrect, but did you go to Screamfest on Friday? It’s just that I was working in Hillybilly‘s and I swear I saw the two of you :)
I missed out on survival games last year as the que was crazy but if that's how full on they are with pushing and pulling you around I'm not sure I will enjoy that maze 😮
If you want to leave a maze will they just escortt you to the end? Im to scared to try mazes but if i know i can get out when i want i think id be more comfortable trying! What happens with being removed?
Hi there! I work in stitches, if you wish to leave we can either escort you through the maze and make the other actors aware it’s a no scare situation or if the entire environment of the maze is too much we can escort you through the backstage actors runs and out of a fire exit. 💜 hope this helps.

Similarly years ago in Asylum I was gibbering and crying and barely had my eyes open and I felt a squeeze on my arm from an actor who was walking down our line, BUT it felt a reassuring one like “it’s ok, I’m staying in character, but we’ve got you, you’ll get through this.”
Forever grateful to those actors. ❤
@@bighoaxor hi there! So there are no scare lanyards available that all the actors are trained to spot and recognise that we dont jump or scare that person. We let you walk by and maybe just offer a smile. 💜
One of the best Fright Night ever and the witches show is excellent!
This year the event is top class!
With most of the mazes returning this year, What order would you say to do them in to build yourself up. It’s my first fright nights (I do enjoy scary things but still want to build myself up)
I’d start at Stitches and end on Survival games!
@@ThemeParkWorldwideThank You, I’ve heard deadbeats going to be even scarier than survival games but out of the returning mazes I’m definitely gonna start with stitches and end with survival games
Can't believe hypirias trailer has been released
Frightnight looks so good 😀😀
It was great to be at the park and see it!
Going to fright nights for the first time this year, Anything you would recommend?
Definitely Stitches and Trailers! 😍
I’ve only been to HHN at universal so it seems really funny hearing the actors own voices. I don’t know how they manage to do that all night?! Especially the monster/zombie characters. Must destroy their voices!
They work so hard to put on a great show!
I went today and did all the mazes glad I didn’t watch this before the mazes are so good very creepy my favourite is survival games
Also my friend was made to go on his knees and bark like a dog
Glad you had a good time!
I found trailers the weakest this yr, stitches is my favourite however i did like the physicality of survival games cuz for me it added to the realism of it 😂
Great video, just ask one thing if there’s is going to be flashing lights could you put a trigger warning
We mention this at the start of the vlog!
Personally I don’t mind the super intense push and shove ones but it should have a very clear warning on it for people who don’t!
Survival games was the toast of the peak for me. Also toast of the peak means the best.
Got my tickets booked for 2 weeks time, so excited! Been a couple of years since I've been
Have a fantastic time!
Survival Games was also Awesome last year when it first opened and I think it's Cool how they bought it back
Thanks for coming! I’m glad you liked my long fingers 👍🏼
Brilliant!
My mate Samsara was there too, wonder if I'll see her in your video ? FAB FUN GUYS.
Thanks for watching!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide - My great pleasure.
Trailers do remind me of HHN's Slaughter Sinema house which looks fun
12:03 The sound effect of the creept lady singing in this maze is the same as the sound effect used in Gloomy Wood with the music statues
Sorry if this has already been commented, but the dolls room in ‘trailers’ used the same piece of music from the mirror scene, in the Haunted Hollow at Alton Towers, right?
They do!
Im just wondering but how do you say you want to leave the mazes? theres been many occurances when ive just been trapped in the mazes.
You can just tell an actor and they will get you our safely!
@themeparkworldwide - what’s better, Alton Towers Scarefest or Thorpe Park scarefest? Not sure which one to go to!?
If you want actual scare thrills then Thorpe park 100%, Alton towers is more family friendly
@@wow2283 thanks
Definitely Fright Nights!
at 9:27 you can see the actor looking to see how long they’ve got until the next room
This was amazing vlog Thorpe park really put all the work for this year fright night it going really strong
Thank you. They have done a great job!
They are free to enter!
it looks amazing! the one complaint i have is that it looks like the amity v lycanthorpe thing has kind of been lost, and they don't seem like they're against each other anymore. cannot wait to go! also, for charlotte (i apologize if that is spelt wrong), how do you leave a scare maze if its too much for you??
It seems like they are both against the witches now! You can just ask to leave and you will be taken out!
Looks amazing !! Well done Thrope Park team x
They’ve done a great job!
13:47 There is a easter egg Look on the posters the theater are showing a hyperia movie. This is the reference for the hyperia roller coaster Being built
Hi Shawn and Charlotte I am going to Thorpe park 3 weeks time on a Saturday but Saturday week I am off to Alton Towers and staying overnight so I can all the scare mazes and some rides I am looking forward to it
Have a great time!
Was really looking forward to some Fright Night vlogs! I really want to go to fright nights one year but I’m way to petrified, I would probably scream all the time!
Looked like you both got some good scares though!
We had such a great time!
Stitches looks like the best maze Thorpe has ever done!!
It’s absolutely incredible. We had some amazing scares!
Have a great time and enjoy those rides in the dark!
My dream job is alighting designer for shows and that is some really good rig and light designing, I wonder how people get to do the lights in theme park shows
It was amazing to watch!
Will you be going in the scares at fear island?
We won’t be this year
That was fun to do and I like the acting in Survivel games
so funny.😂😂😂😂😂😂
When charlotte gets scerd.
So where does stitches ran up when compared to hhn this year
It’s my favourite maze of the year
@@ThemeParkWorldwide wow must've been good them coz I thought hhn this year was the best scare attraction I'd ever been too
Regarding your merch why don't you think about wearing it when you are out and about filming. Or have your name printed on the front of your caps just a thought Loved this it was very scary
Thanks for your suggestion. It was a brilliant night!
Fab idea
Hi. This might be stupid if I’m incorrect, but did you go to Screamfest on Friday? It’s just that I was working in Hillybilly‘s and I swear I saw the two of you :)
We did indeed!
Hey can someone help me? I know this is off topic but i play planet coaster on xbox and i cant turn the HUD when hitting ctrl shift G. Any ideas?
I’m not sure on Xbox sadly
This looks absolutely AWESOME!!
It’s amazing this year
I actually have those exact long hands at home! Weird seeing them in the wild
Amazing! I want some 😂
@@ThemeParkWorldwide they’re 20 quid on Amazon.
Super happy to scare you guys in crows! :) hella fun
It was brilliant!
Will you be going to screamfest burton this year?
We won’t be featuring it on the channel this year
I missed out on survival games last year as the que was crazy but if that's how full on they are with pushing and pulling you around I'm not sure I will enjoy that maze 😮
It was very full on grabbing this year, too much in our opinion!
Did you go on rides at night too?
We didn’t this time!
Thorpe yet again having the Halloween event of the uk. I know towers isn’t even on yet but still just isn’t going to be better than that is it
Brilliant event!
Looking forward to your tulleys vlog, when will that be on to watch x
We didn’t film a vlog from Tulleys this time!
Awesome Video Guys 😄😄
Thanks!
If you want to leave a maze will they just escortt you to the end? Im to scared to try mazes but if i know i can get out when i want i think id be more comfortable trying! What happens with being removed?
Omg please someone reply to this
Hi there! I work in stitches, if you wish to leave we can either escort you through the maze and make the other actors aware it’s a no scare situation or if the entire environment of the maze is too much we can escort you through the backstage actors runs and out of a fire exit. 💜 hope this helps.
Actors will remove you from the maze if you need to get out
