Vocal acrobatics is normal for them. They've figured out how to be able to sing with each other in ad-libs and harmonies without sounding like they clash or overpower each other.
If you are caught lip syncing, you'll get backlash. There was a recent issue of a girl group members performance where they were lip syncing when they were sitting down.
BTOB will always sing live, they had said that they themselves insist on singing live, and that they receive a kick/energy from doing so. They did lip sync for a music stage once back in their early days, but they were so bad at it so they just stuck to singing live.
Not to mention, they also singing live in dance practices. BTOB rocks 💙
BTOB and Mamamoo are the vocal kings and queens of kpop.

Lovely reaction, thank you! BTOB just had their 10th year anniversary concert for 3 days (30th dec 2022- 1st jan 2023), with a live band! They danced a lot, so I think they had a bit louder backtrack for a few of their up-beat songs, other than that, 100% live - as always!
They do A LOT of vocal warm-ups to keep their voices healthy for performances, there's been instances were people next room in music shows dressing rooms have complained for how loud they get. BTOB are a very rare group, I have to say! It happened many times that the sound system is bad at festivals or shows, because the production team (I'm guessing) weren't ready for a group to sing live (cuz nobody did so), so they performed without in-ears many times, which is crazy!
It's hard not to appreciate this amount of talent the second you get a glimpse of it, glad I discovered them!💙
Anyway, looking forward to more BTOB reactions!

The three rappers are at the back. The one in the middle is Ilhoon, who left the group. The remaining two rappers are part of BTOB4U along with Changsub and Eunkwang (the two vocalists in the middle front). The other two vocalists on both sides were the ones who went recently to the military.

Thank you for reacting to another BTOB video and thank you for introducing them to your friend. They are such a talented and amazing group that deserves recognition and appreciation but most of the times underrated just bcoz they don't look and sound like the usual kpop group. But then again..they are not really your ordinary kpop group and the beauty of their songs and music plus their ability to perform ao well LIVE make them true artists and musicians. Yes, they have one of the best and strongest vocal line but their rappers are so good, too. And these rappers can sing so well..and the vocal line can rap easily..these are 7 multi talented guys..and we love them so much.
By the way, during the performance while they were sitting down..you showed the complete members to your friend and pointed out the wrong guy at the back. The 3 rappers at the back were Peniel (at the left), Ilhoon (at the middle and is the one who left in 2020) and Minhyuk (at the right and is also a songwriter/composer/producer like Hyunsik). Also, Changsub belting so high and so well is such a good thing. The fact is, he usually is the one always having voice cracks..not bcoz he can't sing well..but bcoz he's always tired and sleeping instead of doing voice warm ups before their live performances. But we love him just the same..his voice cracks make them more real..also proves that they are performing live and not doing lip syncs like other kpop groups. 😉

Thanks for reacting to our beats, I understand you just started reacting to BTOB but I'd recommend for you no to watch compilations, just react to the actual songs, live stages after MVs if you want are from another world and each of the stages are so good and different!!!
There are some songs in this compilation that you're missing the rap part which is essential part to the songs like L.U.V, they have the vocal battle shown here but the rappers also have their own in the same song and the whole song is just amazing 👏
By the way, all of them completed their military service, when Eunkwang was crying in the introduction video it was because he was leaving for his military service, that was the last concert where they sing all together in 2018 (Thi is us is the name of the concert).
Changsub went second and Minhyuk 3rd, the others stayed so they can accompany Peniel as he didn't have to serve because he's American; when Eunkwang finished his service, the other 3 enlisted (Hyunsik and Sungjae enlisted the same day, Ilhoon enlisted right after but then he left in 2020, while Hyunsik and Sungjae were still in service)
While these 2 served, BTOB 4U happened, they released an album (Inside) and joined Kingdom, then released a second album (Outside) after Kingdom 😀

The vocalists are Sungjae, Eunkwang, Hyunsik, and Changsub. You can tell them apart by singing style. Hyunsik has a deeper voice (can still sing hella high), Eunkwang is classy and opera like (like his mom), Sungjae is soft and elegant and has his acting career, and Changsub is well... just amazing and you can tell his voice is his if you ever watch a show where they hide their identities. Infact, all of them are too easy to figure out on hidden idenitiy shows since they are all so unique and VERY popular in South Korea (Top 3 most known kpop male group).

BTOB is an amazing group. All 7 are vocalists and all 7 are rappers. They are all top tier within the kpop industry whether its for rapping or for their amazing vocals. Eunkwang is actually a director in the company.
For me, BTOB is monster of vocal.. they eat every range and every genre. They raise my standard of idols..

At 16.40 you said if they ever done a challenge on who can hold the longest note. They did it once in an older vlog in their waiting room and hyunsik is the one who did it.

Eunkwang isn't that hard to say. Separate it just like it's written in Korean: Eun - Kwang. Lumping it like "EUNK-WANG" makes it awkward to pronounce so it's best to always pronounce their names into the separate characters of their name. Like 지-민, 태-영, 은-광, 리-사, 에-릭, ect. They are said together without the - of course but breaking them into their parts usually helps besides a few pronunciation changing rules. Example if you are interested but the name Haknyeon (학년) isn't said like "Hak-Nyeon" but is said more like "Hang-Nyeon" (항년) to ease pronunciation of it. Writing it in English doesn't really help with the pronounciation well because in English "Hang" has a harsh A sound and that's the same it in Korean. If you were to type both of those (학년 / 항년) into Google Translate you'd hear the similarities despite a letter being changed from ㄱ (G sound) to ㅇ(either an -ng sound or no sound depending on where it is in a word).
For Eunkwang (은광):
Eun is a soft sound that's hard to describe. Like the UN from "until" but with a softer emphasis on the UN.
Kwang isn't hard. Don't make the "Kwang" harsh like the ANG of "rang" or "sang". Make it soft "ah" sound like the AU of "autumn". Then add the "ng" sound which is like "ing" without an I and a gentler G. If you need help, put his name into Google Translate and listen to it OR look up the video that tells you how to pronounce his name - 은광.
