Needed a family car. Drove the Pilot, Sienna, Carnaval, Telluride, cx-90, & GH-Hmax, the choice was clear. That GH-Hmax power was one youtuber put it, "..is just so intoxicating!" GH-Hmax all the way. Ordered placed and can't wait to take delivery of it.
Years ago I was selling Toyota’s I remember the first generation Highlander it was based on the Camry. Customers loved it personally I found it a little boxy . Last year I bought a 2022 with the 6 cyl loaded with all options we absolutely love it. The 6 cyl no longer available. I believe if the Grand was available I would have bought it. Toyota is a great product.
The lane keeping assist is really good too! I have a 2022 Rav 4 and it’s just ok and sometimes jerky, but this one is very smooth and even handles curves very well, better than my 2022 GLE 450 did! I absolutely love this vehicle, except! They duped us on the gas tank capacity, it supposed to hold 17.2 gallons, but on a near empty tank, you’ll only be able to put in about 11 gallons, which Means your losing about 100 miles in range, Toyota NEEDS to fix this!
If I was shopping in this segment, the GH would be my top pick, the power is just awesome, its kinda weird feeling, to have such a huge car move so quickly, it is also one if the most spacious entries in this segment, and if you go with the regular hybrid, you get best in class fuel economy
I really just wish the audio system was better and the steering wheel was memory/telescopic. Both are huge daily things for me and my wife. I wish you didn’t have to get the Lexus for that
Comparing this $67k trim with an $80k used Mercedes GLS450 with 50k odometer, and oh man, for 13k extra - the difference in what you get is like Rolls Royce vs Honda Civic type difference. But the only thing is that Highlander has great resale value, reliable, cheap to maintain and drives higher and smoother over bumps. Tough choice but leaning towards the Mercedes though. Both have amazing third row and cargo space after 3rd row.
It is too bad thar rear bumper has disappeared, nothing to protect your tale gate, it is just a matter of time you tale gate will be damaged, that is very expensive to repair,
Looks great BUT who has 60-70K for this car? Toyota is cutting back the number of vehicles that they sell in the US. Dealers in my area are adding 10-15K to the MSRP. Looks like I won't be purchasing any Toyota. The GH seems to me to be a rich person's caR.
I'd be a bit skittish buying a newly designed engine made by GM. I have friends who owned GM products and it was clear GM does not stand behind their product. Friend of mine had coolant leak in transmission because of the plastic rad tank cracked internally and leaked coolant into his transmission. Last thing I want to do is spend +$50K on a car and 3 years when the warranty expires you're replacing valves, head gaskets turbo charger and GM says not out fault......also too many people don't maintain their cars properly....cars are getting more complicated that there is little room for neglected maintenance....too many people just put the key in and turn it on.
@@magnoliap5824the new Acadia hasn’t even announced pricing or ratings. But from an engineering standpoint the 2.5l is built similarly to Toyotas. Only difference Toyotas doesn’t offer a turbo unless you get the max engine
Unfortunately, I live in the GTA and this nice vehicle would get stolen within 48 hours of ownership. We can't have anything nice without being carjacked or having it stolen off our driveways!
Agree, I went for the 4 turbo AWD plenty of power and no premium; I already have a sports car. At 5% APR 6k equals 7k It would take me 10 years to see the Gas savings and I could really use that money now
Toyota Grand Highlander OR.... Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, GMC Acadia, Chevy Traverse, Mazda CX-90, Honda Pilot or Nissan Pathfinder?
I like the truck styling of the new GMC Acadia
Toyota Grand Highlander and Acadia.

Nice video keep up the good work my brother
Telluride is way better
Awesome straight forward review! Love watching it!
362 HP and 25MPG combine is amazing for size this car, everything looks good and practical, this is a winner!!
Excellent review my friend, great work.
I've been waiting for this episode for a long time🎉🎉🎉

😊thank you for the excellent explanation about vehicle I like the way you describe everything in details I watch all your videos
Love love, love the Grand Highlander. Want one!

Most reviews show that color combination, but it's not shipped any where in Florida. How do you get the coastal creme with portobello interior?
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video but im enjoying my mitsubishi outlander phev and it accommodates 7

What are the accessories that are covering the cargo area and seat backs of the second row?
What is the maximum top speed of the Toyota Grand Highlander Non Hybrid and Hybrid?
What rear mats are those?
8 inch console in the dash for the big beast is so silly
Can you review the limited hybrid next time
Third row window was one reason why I chose this for our family.

I traded my GL 450 for this last week, I hope it was worth it 😬
Turbos worry me. My friend got a new tundra and he says there's turbo lag and he's noticing an oily smell.
Checked one out in person this weekend. Way too much cheap plastic around the bottom, back and wheel wells.
That's surprising the back seats aren't powered. Especially since its GRAND Highlander.Power seat should be a basic

Exterior and interior looks like from 2016s lol still sticking with traverse
Hi, I simply loved this car. Hey do you have any idea that this car will launch in India as well?
Best out of the trims is the Hybrid Limited with options. 32+ mpg with awd on a vehicle this size is ridiculous
I have to stop what I was doing to watch this video with a headline like that knowing that it’s true and Toyota is my favorite car 😊
Nice pants, Mike! 😊
I thought in clownada we do 0-100 kmh not 0-60 mph
It’s a plastic box on wheels that will sell well because it’s a Toyota. That’s all you need to know
I can’t believe that Toyota didn’t include 4-way lumbar in any trim. Ugh! 😑
I found another car channel it's like watching little bit Doug Monroe + Car WOW+ Unbox Therapy.

I do hate the exhaust pipe. It's so bad looking 👀
The middle seats are not removeable, a deal breaker to me.
Hopefully the redesign RAV4 looks like this
Everything good except you can’t get one.. been on waiting list since July. Dealers have no idea when they will get some
SUVs are known for their off-road capabilities, making them suitable for both city and adventure-driven lifestyles
2.4 t toyota engine is not DI. Its both DI and MPI
I like the conservative styling. Not the usual ugly spindle.
This looked good for about 5 months till the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia just got re-deigned
Whats the cost

The Acadia is way more expensive with low ratings!

Grand rav 4
Not worth the price in Canada could get a Tesla for same almost

The car theft in Toronto is insane!
Sounds like Los Angeles or San Franciscoall big cities suck
I try to buy a 24' Toyota Grand Highlander.
0 to 60 test
It was in there
Big USV but a baby engine 🤔
lit😋🤑🤑🤩🤩🤩
The seats is looking poorly
More plastic added to body 😂😂
Lol at this $70k spec having plastic fenders. Toyota is a joke.
Yea. These will
Come down a lot when the Lexus tx comes out.

@@2mallikharjunaindeed
How about 100k X5 with plastic fenders
The issue with toyotas for me is that almost all cab drivers use them so its too played out for me 😂
Because the reliability is clutch. Smart people buy cars that are easily maintained and cheap to repair.
@@user-yx4on8hx4wyea i know but thats why i rather buy a lexus, same reliability and you dont see as many as toyotas in the street.
@@marcelrodriguez2067yeah and pay for premium gas and maintenance lol
