I'm a music educator in Texas and this is a great video for introducing different musical genres to students. However, I cannot use this video in my class (middle school) due to one picture around 10:39 of a rap star holding up the middle finger. Is there any chance you could edit this picture out for me and post the updated video so that I can use it in my class? Thanks for considering.
i'm from the UK and the middle finger is just a middle finger....in some countries the big toe is offensive....

In regard to #27 PUNK - Don't know if was mentioned before, but PUNK in not a British music genre, but New York. As a great journalist put it once, 'punk' exists from the misconception that the Ramones could be copied. Malcolm McLaren having been in New York took what was happening there back to London and put together the Sex Pistols. But, the Ramones had been residents at CBCGs and released two albums before anyone was even close to what they were doing, and the world followed. Therefore Punk is a New York genre, but I guess this is the hidden history of the genre. Although there are indications that punk is coming, the Ramones' first album is effectively ground zero. From Wiki: "Inspired by the punk scene that was emerging in Lower Manhattan-in particular by the Ramones and the radical visual style and attitude of Richard Hell, then with Television-McLaren began taking a greater interest in The Strand members (what would become, The Sex Pistols)."
