- Mr Herriman's phobia of dogs has to turn into paranoia at the worst possible time. It's was a really funny scene and I recall this was the first season 1 episode to have Bloo become more of the jerk he was known in the later seasons.

There, Herriman talked and felt like he knew that someone in that house had problems with Herriman.
The reasons why poor Mr.Harriman doesn’t like puppies. Is because there’s dog breeds like greyhounds and beagles which they’re known to literally chase rabbits
Greyhounds and Beagles and hunting hound dogs Basset hounds bloodhounds Wolves and Foxes and Coyotes all hunt and chase and kill rabbits. Well at least Wolves Foxes and Coyotes do. The rest just chase and track them down.
Mr. Harriman just has Cynophobia (Fear of dogs).

And what I also like is how the Imaginary Friends who actually noticed the puppies didn't even try to inform Mr. Herriman of them. Well except for Clambake (AKA the Imaginary Friend that kinda looks like a bone) who tried to inform Herriman but he quickly silenced him. LOL
That shot has lived rent free in my head for years. The shear amount of pleasure they're getting watching Harriman get traumatized
