ROMANIA IN MOTO 2023 EP1

Il viaggio è stato effettuato ad agosto 2023 insieme alla mia metà ed oramai compagna inseparabile dal 2014 di tante avventure, un GS 1200 del 2005 che ad oggi riporta 130 K. Km. Abbiamo attraversato in ordine i seguenti paesi: Croazia/Bosnia/Serbia/Romania/Ungheria/Slovenja/Carinzia Austriaca per un totale di quasi 5000 km.
In Romania ci siamo concentrati sulle regioni della Transilvania, Bucovina e Maramures lasciando altre zone ad una vacanza futura, mentre per in Ungheria abbiamo approfittato per la visita di Budapest, era la prima volta per noi.
La rete viaria non è molto sviluppata, però le strade sono tutte ben mantenute ed i Rumeni sono veramente un popolo ligio alle regole stradali e molto gentili nel darti strada nelle situazione di incolonnamento.
E’ stato difficile condensare nei tre video visto la varietà di paesaggi, città ognuna con la propria identità ed su tutto le bellezze dei monasteri che hanno veramente lasciato il segno.
Speriamo che i video siano di gradimento e soprattutto di spunto per un viaggio verso una nazione che ha molto da offrire sia per il motociclista più esigente ma anche per coloro che come noi amano immergersi nelle tradizioni locali, assaporare le loro tipicità.
Abbiamo beneficiato di una grande ospitalità con persone che ti dispensano suggerimenti in ogni dove, pernottato principalmente in B&B tutti molto puliti e decorosi che abbiamo trovato quasi sempre in loco senza difficoltà, l’inglese seppur basico come il nostro è abbastanza diffuso ed in alcuni B&B anche l’italiano.

The trip was carried out in August 2023 together with my other half and now inseparable companion since 2014 on many adventures, a GS 1200 from 2005 which to date reports 130 K. Km. We crossed the following countries in order: Croatia/Bosnia/Serbia/ Romania/Hungary/Slovenja/Austrian Carinthia for a total of almost 5000 km.
In Romania we concentrated on the regions of Transylvania, Bucovina and Maramures, leaving other areas for a future holiday, while in Hungary we took advantage of visiting Budapest, it was the first time for us.
The road network is not very developed, but the roads are all well maintained and the Romanians are truly a people who obey the road rules and are very kind in giving you way in situations of traffic jams.
It was difficult to condense into the three videos given the variety of landscapes, cities each with their own identity and above all the beauties of the monasteries that have truly left their mark.
We hope that the videos are to your liking and above all to provide inspiration for a trip to a country that has a lot to offer both for the most demanding motorcyclist but also for those like us who love to immerse themselves in local traditions and savor their uniqueness.
We benefited from great hospitality with people who give you suggestions everywhere, we stayed mainly in B&Bs which were all very clean and decent and which we almost always found on site without difficulty, English although basic like ours is quite widespread and in some B&Bs also Italian.
