- Hua Hin, in Thailand, is a beautiful beach community within driving distance from Bangkok. It's just a little bit more than 3 hours away. We visited Hua Hin during Songkran, Thai's New Year festival. Songkran is a massive celebration throughout Thailand, where people throw water at one another as a way to bring good luck for the upcoming year. It ends up being very fun!

Hello, hello! Here's one of our favorite cities in Thailand and Southeast Asia: Hua Hin. Have you ever heard of it? And have you ever experienced Songkran in Thailand? 😁😆😅😂 So fun! We visited Hua Hin once. I remember having very good seafood for dinners. And at night, we went on the beach catching all kind of crabs. Catch and released. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing town.

Love Hua Hin, just another beautiful city, and of course love your video very much!! You can also visit the beautiful vineyard and one of the best Durian plantations in Thailand in just 1-hour drive from the beach. Just an amazing city!!

Hello and thanks for watching. My response, while it can be done why not spend at least a night in Hua Hin? It is cheap and there is enough to explore. Otherwise, that is a very quick turn around and Bangkok traffic can be very hectic.

If you are fortunate enough to find yourself in Thailand right now, you could be enjoying holidays like this almost as if covid isn't happening, because while much of the rest of the world is having to go into lockdown again, there is virtually no Covid in Thailand.

If you have a chance, I would like you to visit Sam Roi Yot Beach from Hua Hin 40 minutes to go there. Sam Roi Yot The beaches here are beautiful and quiet, less crowded and less known.🌅🏖️

Hua Hin and some other neighbour tourist destinations have been almost the ghost towns since the pandemic. I hope that the Thai government will find more flexible measures to relieve the tension of the sceptical restrictions which I believe, has blocked tourists from entering Thailand. Nobody wants to be detained in the hotel for 14 days.
As I see on the news, it's an offer to make it 7+7 instead of 14 days in a row which is quite interesting. It means you have to lock yourself in the room for the first 7 days and the rest you're allowed to walk in the hotel public areas. It sounds great, isn't it?
Well its progress. I suspect with the vaccines around the corner governments will be more conservative about opening and maybe second half of 2021 we see better progress. It is a shame when so many people's livelyhoods depend on tourism
