i never remember much about project sekai but it’s very popular and i heard the localization is good. i always download it and then delete it immediately lol 😭
today i had volleyball tryouts 💪🏽 the chances of me getting on the team are very low but i got to see a bunch of my friends from school and whack balls at them!! for free!! fun fun

@@UrlocalroachJaiya Sometimes (like in my ma's case) people have bad run-ins with dogs and get attacked by them, other times it's just certain breeds they're scared of (such as rottweilers). I don't understand it much myself since I adore animals, but we gotta respect peoples' fears. I'm terrified of heights, escalators, and cars, but not everyone is gonna be, and not everyone will understand those fears. Similarly, some people are afraid of dogs, and others may not understand or have those fears themselves. It's mostly a subconscious thing, but I agree, dogs are cute!

I was firstly scared of dogs because rabies sounded horrible. Years later got cornered by a dog but got barely saved by my dad, so now I can't go near stray or non-leashed dogs out of fear of being bitten.
My first impression of Tsukasa was: “He’s kind of sassy that’s cool.”

ever since then I haven’t been able to escape this tsukasa abyss. it just doesn’t stop. i have literally never obsessed over a single character so much in my entire life and i will need therapy by the time project sekai potentially ends.

THE ACCURACY. When I was a bandori player watching a what your project sekai kin says about you I thought mizuki was some sort of famous fashion artist, haruka was a girl who once went to antartica, saw penguins, then fangirled, while honami being a mcdonalds worker who loves apple pies. Don't ask me how this headcanoned upon my head 😭

Same thought on Toya. As an artist, I know how draining it is when your OC is compared to another popular character so I don't really do this type of comparison. BUT Toya have similar hair with Todoroki and I just went "This boi gotta have a strong similarity with him" and I was right (major father issue) 💀

@@aj__io There's a lot of useless changes to the script. Some catchphrases are inconsistent and some jokes that would have worked perfectly fine in English were rewritten for no reason.
There's also the thing where instead of changing (debatably) offensive content to fit better to the west or just adding a disclaimer, they just flat out removed a huge part of the story. But I don't want to get too into that.
It's better for English speakers to read it directly from the localized version, since raw translations feel a little too straight-forward, but that really doesn't make the localization good. I'm saying this as a person who partially understands Japanese
