Here is something that wasn't mentioned in this segment. It was the intent of the Chiefs and Mahomes to be much more explosive this season. That is why they gave up draft capital to move up and spend their first round draft pick on the fastest man in the draft. That is why they signed Hollywood Brown in the offseason as a proven deep threat, stretch the field guy. But circumstances have derailed those intentions. Brown got hurt in the preseason and hasn't played a game, Worthy is raw and needs a lot of work, Rice went down with a season ending injury, Pacheco went down and has missed several games. But the piece that hurts as much as any to the explosiveness of the downfield passing attack but never gets mentioned is the abysmal play at LT. Deep routes take time to develop and Patrick has had very little. When he does seem to have it, it's often because the O-line is holding. All of this to say, that this isn't the offense that the coaching staff and GM imagined. But these are the cards that they were dealt. Good coaches adjust on the fly and Reid and Co. have done a tremendous job of doing just that.
THIS is what sports TV should be. Ex players and professionals talking about the intricacies and nuances of the game the average fan may not think of. It shouldn’t be just narratives, gossip, and Cowboy/Laker talk🙄
We might forget that if not for some off the field "stuff" Kareem Hunt might not have ever left the Chefs in the first place. His production now that he's back with KC is not surprising at least to me.
Not surprisingly at all . Nick Chubb was the bell cow in Cleveland so Kareem doesn’t have the mileage on him that a RB his age usually has, that’s why he can play like this and he’ll be even better when Pop get back nobody tryna tackle them two in the cold all night in January
Mahomes said years ago he wanted to break the Canton Bulldogs record of going 25 games without a loss. That will happen if the Chiefs win or tie the rest of the way.

The titans have given the Chiefs the exact piece we needed them to not have , a star veteran big body who can get open in tight spaces 😅 #3peat
with great hands and high football IQ. we're all screwed.
I always said Patrick need a possession receiver with a wide catch radius and D-Hop is the the perfect receiver
One of the best football segments of the season. Thank you.
Great take by Brusky
One Of My Favorite Segment 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
If KC gets the 1 seed… it’s just 2 home games to make the SB. Really important for this team to get that bye week, since won’t have one since week 6.
yea then have 3 games in 10 days in December too
D.Hop looks real good in red, and will look even better with some extra "jewlery"!

Never thought I would see Schefter bring something relevant and insightful to the conversation.
KC will win the AFC West and will be in the AFC Championship
Yeah together with JUJU there too
D-Hop? Best third down team.
Brett Veach is the GM GOAT!!!
Veach asked me in a restaurant in 2016 what I thought of Mahomes. I didn't know who Mahomes was. I know now!
@@Idlewyld You didn't know who a record setting QB in college was? I guess you don't watch any college football at all.
Mahomes said years ago he wanted to break the Canton Bulldogs record of going 25 games without a loss. That will happen if the Chiefs win or tie the rest of the way.
thanks titans 🙄
They're just following orders
The Script rules all!
Honestly… we are actually going for the 4peat.
Just sayin.
