Just outside of the review alone I just love to see that there are still stylists out here who still take the time and joy to care for and wash the hair and you can tell she does it with love. This was refreshing to see. It makes me miss going to the salon to see a beautician I trust.

This was such a thorough review. I try to remember that this line was not just created for us natural girlies. But for everybody. I used the hydrating shampoo and the deep conditioner along with my usual clarifying shampoo and other styling products. My wash and go has definitely lasted a couple of days longer. I use the line (except for the treatments). My hair is definitely different and last longer too. One thing that I can gage with is that I have a friend who’s like a sister. She never comments on my hair because she’s so used to it. Yesterday, she went, “WOW your hair looks amazing, what are you using”. When I said Beyoncé she chimed down a bit and started to complain about the artist overall, but for me she had already given me her adoration for my hair.😅

I used both shampoos to wash my mother’s thick butt length locs and didn’t use anything near the amount this stylist used. I really think a little goes a long way as long as you use water to help spread the product because it is so concentrated. 8 oz should last way longer than 6 washes. I totally disagree with the stylist assessment on that front but that’s just my opinion. I appreciate the review though.
I totally agree . My daughter used half as much of the clarifying shampoo. She has long thick hair as well .I don’t understand why she did not wet her hair.If you don’t wet the hair you are going to use twice as much shampoo so I agree with you 100%

I loved how she emphasize the importance of washing our hair. Ppl always ask me how I was able to grow my 4c hair as long as I have and I always tell them WATER. Washing and conditioning is vital in our hair growth
Her stylist has lots of knowledge on hair I can tell and appreciate this in that sense! The only thing that didn’t sit right with me is she educated us about consumer products vs stylist products and it seems like she’s comparing this to other stylist products…where as a consumer who often tries other consumer Cécred stands out(and yes Im a natural girly) the fact that she’s rating these in comparison to her professional products and rating them mostly sevens is a good sign to me. It would’ve been great to hear how these compare to other consumer products that are also made for all hair types bc that’s what this line is, it’s not simply for the naturals but all in all I can appreciate that they were being real.
I loved the knowledge that your stylist gave with every step! I haven't been pressed to try Cecred, but have been curious and this was very helpful. I also have Type 4 hair and could see how some products weren't giving you enough slip. Thank you for sharing!
Totally got different results Great experience with type four hair .And the amount of clarifying shampoo was not needed on my daughter’s hair who has type four hair, same length same thickness plus she was able to do a silk press, which looks amazing with so much movement shine body. I say try it for yourself on your hair with no preconceived expectations. Just let the product do what it do and judge for yourself

Rice water is known to cure breakage in hair. It is a tradition that Chinese women have been using for hundreds of years. I had breakage in my hair and I fermented some rice water. Have been doing it for years. If you treat your hair with rice water more than once a month you will definitely see a difference. Your hair will have less breakage and it will only gain length. Miss Tina and Beyonce knew exactly what they were doing when they blended these ingredients together. I stand behind it 100%. This is a product that you should use on hair that has already been pre-washed in order for the ingredients to give their best quality. This hair stylist has very vague energy towards the product. Obviously she knows nothing about rice, water, rituals or treatments. The more you use rice water treatment, the better results you will see. People should give their reviews after 2 or 3 months of using this product. It is definitely worth it.
glad you mentioned rice water I bought it recently abd waiting forcit yo arrive and try it out. I will see after 3 months of use how it works. I understand results will vary depending on hair type and the overall condition of your hair. I have fine curly hair, which breaks easily. So hoping I get great results with the rice water.

OMG! This was the best review I have seen on these products. I have already purchased all the products ( both shampoos and conditioner as well as both treatment options). I have only used the sealing lotion and the hair oil and I rate them(as a at home stylish….a 10 out of 10). I’ll try to hit you back and let you know how my wash day goes. My hair is very close to your hair type I’m 4a/4b(4a-perimeter & 4b-in my crown). Your stylish rocks, where is she located and is she taking new clients????

Regular conditioner has yet to come out. The deep conditioner is supposed to be used after the protein treatments. I have yet to try the reconstruction treatment mask, but looking forward to it. The products work really well on my mom’s 4C hair. It works nicely for my 4B hair. We don’t use a lot of styling products so I don’t need to use the clarifying shampoo every week. We also have finer hair so a shampoo bottle will last me 2-3 months with weekly washes. I hope more styling products come out soon. I love the scent and my favorites so far is the shampoo, deep conditioner and oil. I’ll probably try the mask in a couple of weeks.
THIS!!! I was thinking the same thing. ESPECIALLY when she started shampooing on dry hair.. I was like ummmm since when do we not soak the hair down with water before we shampoo. & the amount of shampoo she used was crazy!!! Half way through the video I was just like, she is a stylist that prefers to use her own products. She was very biased.

Seems like my hair is similar, and I noticed the same issues. I didn't think the slip was there at all. Detangling was the devil this time around. I'll give it another go and omit the rice water treatment. The scent is nice but a little strong once in the hair. For those who have sensitive noses, it might be a bit much. My hair feels soft but a little hard at the same time.

People keep saying she's using too much and i don't use that much. Well everyone hair is different and she's used what was appropriate for her clients hair.
This was a thorough honest review. Just did my self review and I agree with the conditioner not having the slip I’m accustomed to. my unbrush & I def took longer in the detangle phase. I’ll try again without the protein treatment and see if it makes a difference. Overall 8.5/10..it smells good, it cleans the hair and scalp well & my heat damaged hair felt strengthened but soft…(prior, it felt almost stretchy and would easily snap before, esp the heat damaged parts- hope I explained that right). This is def a luxury
I don't think she's just marketing to black women, but most will buy it. Didn't really expect a cosmetologist to give high ratings because they want you to come to them. But those who prefer to do their hair or save money on occasion. Check out the newest travel sizes to try out which is a good move.

Yes! I’ve gotten 6 washes from just the travel sizes and only ran out of conditioner so far. You only need dime size of the shampoos.

I'll give it another go and omit the rice water treatment. The scent is nice but a little strong once in the hair. For those who have sensitive noses, it might be a bit much. My hair feels soft but a little hard at the same time.

People keep saying she's using too much and i don't use that much. Well everyone hair is different and she's used what was appropriate for her clients hair.
This was a thorough honest review. Just did my self review and I agree with the conditioner not having the slip I’m accustomed to. my unbrush & I def took longer in the detangle phase. I’ll try again without the protein treatment and see if it makes a difference. Overall 8.5/10..it smells good, it cleans the hair and scalp well & my heat damaged hair felt strengthened but soft…(prior, it felt almost stretchy and would easily snap before, esp the heat damaged parts- hope I explained that right). This is def a luxury
I don't think she's just marketing to black women, but most will buy it. Didn't really expect a cosmetologist to give high ratings because they want you to come to them. But those who prefer to do their hair or save money on occasion. Check out the newest travel sizes to try out which is a good move.

Most Stylist won’t spend 15 minutes shampooing the hair which is bad. I love my scalp scrubbed and massaged which is so relaxing
