- The plaintiff was involved in a home invasion where he got tied up and robbed. He says he moved in with his uncle afterwards, but says his uncle was disrespectful. He’s suing for a cable bill. The defendant argues the plaintiff is messy and was not a good tenant. He’s countersuing for two months of rent.
I believe everything this brother said about the experience with the police as a victim. It's disgusting.
It's very disgusting. That's why it needs to be better laws to hold police officers more accountable...jail time and loss of benefits.
But I wouldn't hold my breath too long for that to happen.
That is so sad. I could feel his pain.
I believe him too, my stuff and my friends things got stolen, they took my work phone, I tracked it down and the police refused to go there for our things.

There wasn't a rental agreement, it was a family member staying with him temporarily, just until he got on his feet. So, why does it matter when he left, it's not as if he was going to have someone else move in, just to sleep on the couch in the front room. Lol! the plantiff seems like a very respectable young man. his uncle should be ashamed for a charging him for rent to sleep on the couch not even giving him a closet or a dresser to put his belongings in. and then also asking him to pay for groceries and putting the cable bill in his name! this young man is a victim of a home invasion. who knows what happened to him during that invasion. he's probably going through post-traumatic stress disorder and depression! his uncle should have been way more supporting in the situation, sacrificed his date nights for awhile if they was so close! the plaintiff was staying there under traumatic situations and he was afraid for his life. he wasn't staying there from bum consequences.
