I chopped up multiple realistic Drum Breaks and made my own groove. After that I added some effects, like a small reverb and a Cassete emulator with a lot of wobble and flutter. But the key part is compression. I went with like a 4:1 and compressed the hell out of the drums, experimented a bit and got this fat sound. It works great for psychedelic tracks!
