Iderozen - I believe the organization is trying to change what the team has been for so many years. Thomas Brown and Eric Washington are actually good choices. Thomas Brown and Eric Washington have both served as Assistant Head Coaches. Thomas Brown has experience working with Sean McVay and Frank Reich. The offense has improved over the last 3 weeks and the offense is getting used to working with Thomas Brown. Eric Washington worked under Ron Rivera for 9 seasons and Sean McDermott for 4 seasons. He is ready to take on being the DC calling plays. We will see a defense playing with more passion with aggressive schemes over the next 5 weeks. Stay tuned.....
I'd go Vrabel. I think ppl underestimate the high octane that Dan Campbell brings to Detroit to allow these coordinators to flourish. I see Ben Johnson looking like Daybol in NY.
Have to give Monken more credit for what he did at Southern Miss. When he took the job they were coming off of a 0-12 season. He left after year 3 where they won their division and making a bowl game.
Ben Johnson, Mike Vrabel, Bill Belichick all goid choices........ However I believe the question was... who WILL be the next head coach? Well it will most certainly be the wrong choice. Whoever interviews wells and management (George McCaskey) falls in love with, irregardless to football coaching ability, will be in charge of breaking Bear fan's hearts for the next 3-4 years.
If Thomas Brown does well, he should be the hire. It would maintain consistency in the building and minimize the effects of coaching turnover on the players.
@BrendenHidalgo - Sensible. Let's see what Thomas Brown and Eric Washington do with the team over the next 5 weeks before trying to figure out who will replace them.
Unfortunately out of that list it feels like more same-same to me. I know the ship has sailed on Harbaugh but can you imagine the jolt and fanfare of having an accomplished coach who played qb under Ditka? The lineage alone would have been a breath of fresh air and a nod to Bears history. Uuuugh
@@Jakes3353 a simply brown is not a head coach yet he has to prove he can be an OC, Brown has had issues and would need 2-4 years as OC and would need to get Caleb up to speed. Vrabel and Brown would be a good thing imo.

Personal List: 1) Ben Johnson - offensive minded guy, capable of adapting on the fly 2) Mike Vrabel - Proven 3) Bill Belichick - Good head coach, bad GM. Keep him coaching and not managing the roster
This can go 2 ways: 1. Any candidate who is serious about coaching this team will be looking at the way business is done in Chicago. There hasn’t been any really backbone for decades. 2. With the way Kevin Warren and McKaskey went about firing Fluss during mid-season shows that Kevin Warren is no Ted Phillips and he is here to run good business. Showing candidates that the team is looking to change things for the best of the whole team and city.
I've been saying for a while that Mike Singletary, the former middle linebacker of the Chicago Bears should be seriously considered for the head couching job. He would kinda be a " Black" version of former Head Couch Mike Ditka. He would definitely hold his players accountable. I believe he would keep Brown as his O.C.
We have 5 games keft... if Thomas gets offense putting up 27pts + ... next 5. He's the coach. It's all about can the Bears offense execute and rack up points.. if they flame out averaging 13 to 17pts next 5 games Thomas is out. Search
Ben Johnson is a super high risk. Every year we see coordinators from teams with good offenses or defenses fail as head coaches. Every now and then one of them works out but it is very rare.
It's because people think that the offensive coordinator is a coach and how they think a position coach is. Fans also think that the OC job is only calling plays.
Offensive HC. Then, hire an Offensive Line coach as OC. It’s a promotion for most, so you should get a good one, and man do we need a high quality offensive line guru. Open up the purse strings and grab Saleh as DC. That should help solidify the D.
it is not just who will be the HC. The question that needs to also be asked will be their assistants. To me if the HC cant put together a good coaching staff it does not matter who is the HC. Look and the Assistants that Chicago has had these 3 years. All of them have been subpar in my mind. We need a HC that will bring in quality assistant coaches.

Looking forward to seeing how the entire team responds to Thomas Brown, as well as his in-game management and play calling. It'd be great if he can show he's the guy for the job, then the Bears can hire someone like Robert Saleh to be his defensive coordinator.
Why didn't Thomas Brown or Caleb Williams call a timeout? I get it that Matt Eberflus is the head coach and is primarily responsible. But, wasn't Thomas Brown calling the plays and wired into Caleb's headset?
too early to predict.... gotta wait two or three games. Thomas Brown will call these games and I want to see how that will work out on all levels before making guesses I d be happy if it were successful... then we d have another guessing game -> i.e. who is gonna be OC
Anyone saying Vrabel clearly has not paid attention the last 3 seasons..If I'm Poles.. It's Ben Johnson or I'm reaching out to Dungy or Cowher to gauge their interest.. might even consider Kurt Warner or Matt Ryan..We need someone who has an offensive mind and has coached great offensive players
Who will be the Bears head coach in 2025?

Ben Johnson, Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Zac Robinson, Liam Coen or Bobby Slowik.
Bill Belichick
Thomas Brown
Vrabel just fits the mold of Chicago but Ben Johnson seems ideal on paper
This is the comment for me
Solid take 🫡
He'll go to the Raiders hes got ties to Brady, and now that Tom Brady is part owner of the Raiders he will fight hard to get Vrabel.

I’m hoping Thomas Brown runs the table and has this team in the playoffs next year.
You should do a video on the Bears new Defensive Coordinators background/capability and opportunity
Vrabel HC Thomas Brown OC would be a elite combo
Mike Singletary Def cor
Vrabel brings in his own staff
Bear Down ⤵️ Thomas Brown
If Mike vrabel can pick the correct offensive coordinator, I think he’s a great choice because of the tone he sets.
What tone? How to coach a losing franchise for multiple years?
@ he raised that titans franchise above all expectations for years
im stuck between mike vradel, thomas brown, and ben johnson
Take a drink every time Harrison says alpha.
If they can get the coaching hire right for once, this team will be a force to be reckoned with.
Have to give Monken more credit for what he did at Southern Miss. When he took the job they were coming off of a 0-12 season. He left after year 3 where they won their division and making a bowl game.
Vraybel of his character and coaching experience
He is defense no thanks
Ben Johnson, Mike Vrabel, Bill Belichick all goid choices........

hoping for ben johnson
Can’t have him! 😑😑

@BrendenHidalgo - Sensible. Let's see what Thomas Brown and Eric Washington do with the team over the next 5 weeks before trying to figure out who will replace them.
@ agreed
I would say Dan lanning but he won’t leave Oregon for a while he loves it there
Let’s see how Brown does these remaining 5 games, we do well and Caleb continues to develop, I’d be open to him being our new HC.
Unfortunately out of that list it feels like more same-same to me. I know the ship has sailed on Harbaugh but can you imagine the jolt and fanfare of having an accomplished coach who played qb under Ditka? The lineage alone would have been a breath of fresh air and a nod to Bears history. Uuuugh
Make Thomas Brown the head coach and get lovey to be the defensive coordinator
A. Mike Vrabel
B. Ben Johnson
C. Thomas Brown
D. Dan Lanning
if this is a spoiler i will be pissed
lol these are just my picks in order
I definitely agree with Lanning over any of the other college coaches
Why does this look like a test question.
Ima go B.
Ben Johnson

Ben Johnson, he’s statistically the best offensive coach in the league the last 3 years
Not against it but I want someone who has been a head coach before. I don’t want flavor of the day this time around
Flavor of the day? Flavor of the last 3 seasons, you mean? Do people just comment to yap?@lonewolfmoves8667
He's never been a HC. We need somebody who's proven to be a good HC
Can’t have him! 😑😉
Ben Johnson is afraid of being a head coach . His family loves Detroit he’s extremely connected to the community . Look deep ,you need a Dan Campbell.
Personal List:
1) Ben Johnson - offensive minded guy, capable of adapting on the fly
2) Mike Vrabel - Proven
3) Bill Belichick - Good head coach, bad GM. Keep him coaching and not managing the roster
Mike Vrabel he's got experience
Marcus Freeman watch the Norte Dame game in 2 hours
Bill B, Pete Carol, Mike Vrabel, Nick Saban, Deion Sanders, Ben J
Wow great idea in saban neon and Carol, we need a big name in chitown
Harrison your hair system is rocking the holidays
Both Ben Johnson and Bill Belicek have already came out saying they were not interested in Chicago. It won't be so simple to get a good coach in here.
Nobody wants Bill and Ben wanted it last yr! They might end up with Ben.
I like thomas brown
If Thomas Brown wins 4 or more games and Caleb continues to look good, he's #1 on my list
Why not win out and try to get a wildcard we are getting online anyways Soo no need to sink low
Nope Thomas Brown should not even get consideration. No to Thomas Brown
Brown wins out. It would be a no-brainer. Ben Johnson #1 in my list. We need an Offensive minded coach. I like Flores and Glenn.
There is no way we get a wild card in this division @@VjidfyjgtXhiifdhh

Warren & Poles were terrible DEI choices. The fact we drafted a punter should be grounds for termination.
Yes
Ditka
It takes more to be a head coach than calling plays. Clock management should be on there obviously
Ben Johnson, Brady, Riley top 3
It's Chicago they are going to higher somebody like the special teams coach from Jacksonville

Yes .
Thomas Brown for sure is #1 on my list if he pans out and is a bulwark between all the chaos for Caleb.
Bill Belichick didn’t just loose Tom Brady, he also lost Gronk and and few others.
Defense, Mike Vrabel
Offense, Thomas Brown depending on how the team looks with the remaining games left.
T. BROWN ❤

His hard nosed style wont work for todays millionaire divas
Let him cook I think he’s the best candidate
Tom brady
We have to see how he does in these five games I like what I've seen so far
Knowing the bears, probably Vrabel, ,Flores, or Belichick.
Flores i like but i dont think he'll mesh here
Ben Johnson Todd Monken and Mike Vrable are my top 3 choices
Yes Thomas brown next head coach
Who’s your top defensive candidate?
no more defensive minded head coaches. Caleb Williams desperately needs an offensive minded head coach.
Defense minded coaches bring us down@@johnbrennan4449
Ben Johnson is my #1 pick, but my dark horse pick is Marcus Freeman
yes
I like the idea of a former HC on his second chance with the Patriots pedigree and a strong run game philosophy on offense. So I'll go with Vrabel.
Either Johnson or Vrabel.
Basically I need the Bears offense to average 25pts per game. That will be the stamp we finally have a legit offense. Years of 10 to 17pts is a joke
Cross fingers shanahan becomes available. That would be dream scenario.
99% unlikely, unless the 49ers are insane.
Hoping for Matt Nagy
😮 why not urban meyer

Keep Thomas Brown as OC & have him revamp the offense. Bring in Vrabel as HC.
I like Mike Vrabel I like Ben Johnson and we'll see what Thomas Brown does
I’m on the Thomas Brown train I hope he does really well and if not Ben Johnson

Open up the purse strings and grab Saleh as DC. That should help solidify the D.
I still think they will keep an eye out on what the 49ers do with their head coach end of the season
Im just a chill guy

I would say if the Bears win atleast 3 of the next 5 he should be at the top of the list.
Yes i would love to see TB do well enough the rest of the yr to get this job
Ben Johnson or Mike vrabel really Ben johnson
Vrabel and Lincoln for OC is my 1. Ben and saleh for DC is 2. And then Thomas brown is 3 with a good DC saleh here too. Maybe
Give me either Ben Johnson, Vrabel or Brown. Either way we need some damn leadership from whoever we pick. Wouldn't hate the idea of Lanning.
Vrabel is the best defense candidate
Ben Jonhson
We need an established no nonsense tough head coach with previous experience. No rookie HC coordinators.
Vrabel, Carroll or Gruden.

The titans' DC.
How about Matt Nagy again right how about you better take that Bears fans
No way this organization keeps paying Flus for the rest of his contract while also paying Belichick the $ he would want.
Vrabel will be a really good hire, but only with the good OC
Yes he should get the job,Thomas brown

Knowing the Bears it will be someone who's never been a HC. (You know, someone cheap.)
Brown offers value and he has the prized QB relationship
Ben Johnson if they're willing to pay
I think TB will do well enough to stay
Hopefully we'll find out in the next few weeks that it should be Thomas Brown
