Cheers for this video. Mine stopped functioning recently and I watched this, took it apart and found that the belt was still intact but had slipped off the larger rotating disc that spins the blade. Easily fixed and saved me money!
_ Nice job overall. But, prehaps you discovered it later on - is not the blade on upside down? _ Have a look at the blade at 1:47 and compare it to 20:40. Before the blade was removed the sharpened bevel was on the side facing the upper part of the mower deck, away from camera view. After re-installation, the sharpened bevel is visible facing the camera. You can also notice by the curve on the outer edge of the blade. Before the curve was on the upper left, but after the curve is positioned on the upper right. _ It appears that the blade is on upside down and should be flipped over so the sharp part of the blade will face the correct direction to cut the grass. Otherwise the grass will not cut well, if at all.
Good spot buddy, that's cos it's the wrong blade for that EV300 mower- that's a blade for a wheeled rotary Flymo.....best if you know what you're doing before advising anyone else, eh. th-cam.com/video/ekfeBfqv7v4/w-d-xo.html
@@slapdashdumper its not the wrong blade, i have a 330EV whch i bought new and has the same blade as the mower in this video, Flymo may have changed the blade design for later mowers.
The Screws at the top were all corroded and I could not unscrew them. Also the screw driver has to be very slim because otherwise the housing will stop the screw driver.
cut the video and 2 hrs later after trying to get the cover off, filming started again, you should have video the part prying the cover off, most important part you left out there my man

Push fit spade connections. Doesnt matter which way the wires go.

Were do they get the price from?..A bit of moulded plastic and a vaccum cleaner motor. Must cost peanuts to manufacture.

looks like you left the motor filters out, they are orange or black in colour, peeps remember your filters
