Haven’t heard Of anyone using a Digitrax sound Decoder in forever. That’s very interesting.

Looks as if a lot of people could change to DCC. question where do all the other wires go on the other side?
For jobs like soldering to the top of that brass screw, that's when I break out the 140 watt soldering gun. It'll heat that screw real hot right NOW. Then just hit it with the solder and get back off of it. Works good.
Some hobbyists burn on the top back little holes so the sound is clearer in a circle pattern FYI.
Could you install back-up lights?
Yes. If you wanted to . Rear lights could be installed.
How do you put the coupler snaps back on?
can this fit on front-traction motor f7s? (the rear is completely empty)
These decoders will fit a variety of locomotives and brands.

The version of that same decoder they made has default steam sounds, how would I switch it over to the diesel sounds it also comes with?
Set cv 60 to 1

I don't think you can change cv's with that system. Can you take the locomotive to a local hobby shop or club? One of them may be able to help.

How do you upload sound into the decoder?
